mmos don't ever really get "fun" by themselves, rpgs are more about character progression which is a very long and endless process, the only "fun" you will have is playing with friends or doing events or raid with guild mates. Once you play enough mmos you will realize at the core the gameplay is no where near as fun when compared to other genres like fps titles. The actual fun in the mmo is created by the community and the people that you play with. Killing x amount of deer mindlessly will never be "fun". All of which are reasons why i gave up on mmos, at core they are nothing more than graphical interactive social networks.
better gfx doesn't fix broken gameplay........sorry![]()
i've tried every mmo that exist and i would say city of heroes/villains has the best combat system, it almost feels like an action rpg which is a good thing.
