  • I don't know about others, but my lag is definately caused by swapping.

    My hdd's (2 raptors in raid0) go mental all the time .... Conan is using an astonishing 1.4GB ( of my 2) internal memory ...

     

    Maploading takes ages .... after loading map it takes another 5 minutes before i can move :)

  • Thing is ... there is not much room left for innovation.

    Trick is ... combining all good aspects from the different games into one.

    Catch is ... everyone has a different taste and a different perspective about what is good/fun.

     

     

    Anyways .. I'm eagerly looking forward to this one ...

    I can somewhat understand your reaction.

    Thing is though, that the lore and the atmosphere is going to be one of the bigger selling points of TcoS. I think the whole purpose of this trailer is to give you a small taste of it. For those interested in combat and action, there are also trailers available  that show that.

     

    And then there are people that don't care about those things ... and even those that don't care about anything ;)

  • Yes ... it might have been proven that SOE was wrong .. doesn't change the fact though that they took a very enjoyable game away from me. And that makes me sad.

     

    I only wish that someday somebody takes the many brilliant ideas and concepts of the original SWG, and does something good with it.
