Ok, for starters mate, WoW took things from every MMO and combined it into 1 with a nice polished off feel. To say that WAR is copying WoW is just ignorant, and quite frankly if you're going to be so blind as to claim this then you might aswell say that the egyptians stole the pyramids from the mayans.
WAR is alot different from WoW and it's more like DAOC, which... by suprise (durrrrrrrr) was made by Mythic.
*golf clap*
Pro tip for OP: play MMO's for quests not pvp. If you want PvP, play a game such as this. It's simple.
Personally I don't think WAR will live up to the Hype, and i'm hoping Aion will come out ontop. If Aion fails as bad as AoC I think i'll either quit MMO's or go back to EVE. I'm getting really sick and tired of having to wait 5 years for a "chance" at playing something decent. The developers need to open their eyes and actually look at why certain games are popular, and why some fail. Can't expect to win a sword fight blindfolded.
Currently playing EVE to pass the time while doing rl things.
Ah too bad. I was one of first couple to even try this game in alpha, there were only 2-3 of us online for first couple of days. The game really did have a good concept but I think the requirements for the game to run decent enough for competitive pvp kept alot of players away, aswell as the lack of immersion, and having no real "world" to explore.
I think they should lower the graphics down, create a world for players to explore and *cough* add player housing, cities, siege *cough* for their next MMO and it would be good. ![]()
