    • Would you say that the original EQ is the most hardcore MMO out there?

    • EQ1 was great, I remember playing it when you were proud of your full bronze suit armour, when the banded-mail that people made was some of the finest gear you could have until level 40.

      When traveling somewhere actually meant you accomplished something...

      Alas the nerfs did reign, how I felt that loss.

       

      Other games that were absolutely amazing

       

      "The Realm" Had a class template system, meaning you could learn/train in anything, it's graphics weren't pretty, but  it's skill system was amazing.

       

      And for another awesome game, that never got off the ground,

       Saga of Ryzom. It doesn't have enough players in the main world, but it's still one of my favourite more modern MMOs for it's skill/item system.
