Here is how to make this game better. Don't try to balance the vocs as CIP has shown does not work.
Set the version back to 7.6 to balance the vocs. At this point, everyone was basically balanced. There were a few minor things, but no one complained.
Side story: So as I was walkign around the other day, a level 45 druid hit me with a SD and took off 205. I thought I read an article on the website saying CIP made the vocs more balanced. Then today, I go to kill a level 20 druid who had killed this one noob who I was showing around. I couldn't do it. A level 42 knight couldn't take down a 20 druid. There is deff a problem with the voc balancing in this game and don't go saying anything about the skills.
Weapon and spell level requirements need to be redone. They are too high. Everyone knows it yet you do not change it. You guys at CIP puzzle me.
Keep the wands and rods as to help sorcs and druids level at lower levels. We all know knights and pallys level faster from level 8-20 and then slow down. Once the mages reach level 20, they rocket past everyone. That needs to go.
Get rid of some of the new items. Or just upgrade servers. You have been lagging since the recent update. More information requires more space. It doesn't take a genius to figure that one out.
Keep some of the newer items. I enjoy seeing more than six swords to choose from. Same goes for all other eq.
Keep all of the new hunting spots. The worlds are too crowded, they need more room for people to hunt. Or you can lower the amount of people allowed on. OR you can not allow people onto servers with high populations unless they already have a character on it.
Since I have not really been around for the past two updates, that is all I have. I have not seen a lot of what has happened here over the past year and to be honest, I do not care. I would only think of returning if CIP made some of these changes.

Obvously I am a tad bit late to this thread but I would love to throw my opinion in there.
I began playing Tibia about five years ago. I did it to chill with my friends late nights or on those crappy days. It was a fun game we played just to pass the time. There were only three of us who ever made it past level 20 and only two people made it past level 30. The ting was, we had fun playing even though we were just being noobs.
From there, I killed off my character pretending to quit, powerleveled a guy from 1-20 in a day then left him there for a few months. I then decided to level him when everyone quit. I made new friends with people all over the world. It was awesome, we were like a family and I still keep in contact with a few of them.
But all good things come to an end. People quit, I had no one, I quit. I ended up coming back just over a year ago due to the fact that I was that bored. While hunting one day, I saw an old friend on and we played together for a few months. We both quit whenthe summer came though.
Forward to today. I currently have a level 42 knight on Chimera. I log on a few times a week and just chat with people. You never know who is going to pop up on there.

So, if you plan to play this game, stick to a non-pvp server. Trust me, it will prove more fun. Also, play with your friends, but make friends with other players as well. I am a big fan of the Game-Chat and that is where I met most of my friends.
Here is why you have not heard of this game.
It was just a college project started by a few German grad students and it then turned into a business. From there they improved it upto the 7.6 update. But I shall not get into that here.
The thing is, there really aren't too many quests to do here. The only ones worth doing require way too much game play. Every server (aka world) is different though. I have played both pvp and non-pvp and to be honest with you, the same problem arise except in non-pvp you cannot directly kill someone.
Anyway, all in all this game was good, you just missed the glory days. Perhaps they shall return.
