So, in the reply to "Is there anything that didn’t make it into the game that you’re looking to add in the next few updates?", i dont see anything about the cities cut before launch......
I also dont see where the "reporter" asks about such a large ommision in said reply ?
So are those cities gone for good ?
Or was the "reporter" just trying to avoid asking questions that the customers might not like the answers too?
This "reporter" felt that this had been covered over and over again at the time of the announcement. Also, if you look at the actual response, Jeff said something about the fact that there were things missing from the game that we knew about and they weren't there. That wasn't the question.
The Capital cities and the classes being cut is a story that we covered extensively. Actually, it was this "reporter" who originally broke the story with an interview with Mark Jacobs. It's old news and doesn't need to be re-hashed every time the game is discussed. They cut them. They were open and honest about it. What more do you want?
Just so you don't have to look it up again:
“There’s none of that for us,” he said, “The things that we said were going to be in, or announced wouldn’t be in (the classes and capital cities, for example) are or aren’t there.”
Basically, what he was saying was that if they said previously that it would be in and didn’t tell us otherwise, it’s there.
So, with all of that in m ind, maybe the "reader" should have read the article more carefully before making an offensive and uninformed "accusation" on the forums?
Get em, dice... POW!!!
That was awesome, and I salute you, sir.

Sorry to tell you its more like Daoc + Warhammer. It has plenty of CC , im only 15 in war but i get cc all the time , its usualy a snare/root/Kb , no it doesnt have a lockdown cc where you can kill people without them being able to defend their self, you actualy have to play this game but thats what makes the pvp in this game sooooo much better than most games , those type of complete cc ability have no reason at all to be anywhere close to a pvp game , including almost everything you listed as "pvp" features ( which they are not)
NO THERE IS NO I WIN CC BUTTON, MIGHT TRY ANOTHER GAME FOR THAT CHEAP SHIT>
So tell me: what PLENTY of CC are in it and for how long/
I expect a list here:
and no short cuts and 4 or 5 letter words like cheap and shit.
I'm not your secretary so I'm not taking orders from you and making you a freaking list. I will say that every melee DD has a snare. Honestly did you even play the game? Witch Hunters start out with a snare at lvl 1. Swordmasters get theirs at like lvl 3 or 4.
The game does have it's faults, but no one in this thread has even touched on them. This smells like a bandwagon jumper that wants to be on the "WAR sucks" cool guy train, but hasn't played the game enough to even comment about how the game plays.
It's one thing to dislike a gamefor whatever reason, but this mob mentality crap has got to go.
The WAR devs are gonna have rename the game Mojave Online.
I was pleasantly suprised as well, and I'm actually thinking about picking this game up now.
My only gripes and concerns are:
The lack of character customization in so far as body types and faces are concerned.
(I realize that each class has access to some faces and hairstyles that other classes of the same race don't have, maybe they should make all of the faces and hairstyles available to all of the classes. This would also go a long way towards alleviating the clone-syndrome that plagues this game.)
The High Elf zone is horriblely bugged.
(I played through alot of the Order zone as a Witch Hunter and never once ecountered the unattackable NPC bug. The High Elf starting area, however, is riddled with places where mobs spawn in places that glitch them up so you can't attack them, but they can attack you. It's really bad in the Public Quest in that area which will be players first experience with PQs. Also, from my understanding this is not a new bug.)
The chat is hit or miss.
(The Order chat channels all seemed to work fine for me, but not many people were using them. The High Elf chat channels would pop up in my chat saying I joined/left them, but when I tried to chat in the channels I just got "This channel does not exist" error messages.
I haven't had a chance to try out any of the other starting areas yet, and I'm also not sure if it's the channels in certain areas or if certain people's chat just gets buggy. Group chat has worked like a charm and I've had no problems with it.)
Finally, every person that rolls a High Elf Swordmaster, gives it white hair, and names it some form of Sephiroth, should be publicly flogged while breathing in the stench of beer farts delivered directly to their faces from a bare assed whino who's been binging for days... and then peed on. It's horrible playing in that zone and seeing Sepharoth run by only to be followed by Sepheroth the next minute. God, I hope it's not like that when the game releases.
All in all, the game is fun and pretty addictive. The Tome of Knowledge is a great way to spice up traditional MMORPG gameplay. The classes seem unique and fun to play. I haven't experienced it yet, but it seems like the combat could get very in-depth at later stages of the game.
The RvR scenarios are alot of fun, although some of them last a helluva lot longer than others.
I love public quest, they rock, they rock, they rock. I really like the way they did the rewards for the PQs too. Although it does suck balls to be one of the top 3 contributors and not get any loot at all. The plus side is that it really doesn't take all that long to run a PQ to farm for all the gear that you want.
Got alittle long winded there... sorry.

LoL, I've been going for about 3+ hours myself, I'm at 85%. It better not crap out on me hehe. If it does, I'm gonna... uhmm.... aaaah, do something else.
LOL I'm about at that point now myself. 94% here and been downloading for almost 3 hours.
It's an awesome day in Florida. I may say screw this game anyway and hit the beach.
Malickiebloo I was in a guild with you in SWG waaaaaaaaaaay back in the day. I don't remember which character was in that guild though.
It's good to see some active SWG vets are still playing and not being the cynical jerk-offs that we've been labeled as because of it.
Cheers and whatnot...
In your opinion, what kind of gamer are you?
