Now, I don't want to be "that guy" who compares everything to WoW because I absolutely hate that guy. But seriously, out of curiosity I looked at a screenshot for the game.

The GUI is a 100% ripoff of WoW. No, not "modeled after." I mean they pretty much just ripped it off and slightly tweeked the icons. Classy.
Down with this thread. If you REALLY believe that a high quality MMO can operate without monthly fees, then you know nothing about how MMOs operate. Guild Wars, a game that classifies as an MMO in only the barest sense, can do what it does only because its entirely instanced and the overhead is incredibly small, and the only additional content is provided via expansion. Games with persistent non-instanced game worlds with constant updates cannot afford to run without a fee unless you bog the game down with advertising to an invasive and painful level, and even then I would say it's a stretch. Hellgate London is instanced but does throw out the occasional patch to non-subscribers, but even they need some advertising to keep that going.
The "free" MMO is a pipedream thought up by 13yr olds with no money who play games like Maplestory and go "WHY CAN'T ALL GAMES BE LIEK THIS!" Until developers and publishers can print money, it's not going to work unless you want an ad infested instanced mess, with few updates and low production values.
Don't feed the trolls people. WoW troll is Wow troll. GB2 myfirstMMO
And for the record, the "WoW like elements" you want them to add are exactly why MMOs now days suck.
Not quite "unique." There is a russian MMO in development called Well Online that has had the idea for quite some time now. A whole player/NPC run police force and investigation system actually. But I'm sure Funcom will implement it first, I haven't seen much work Well recently /=
...btw he's not a goblin Archer..he's a SQUIG HERDER which is an actual Warhammer Class. ...
Yes, but at his most basic level, as he uses a bow, he is not a mage, not a warrior, there for he is an archer. I was trying to get at how limited your choice was in regards to if you wanted to play a pet class, as not only are you limited in race, but you're limited by fighting style as there is no mage pet class option which is generally the norm.
I'm aware they're trying to strike a delicate balance between the classes, however, I still believe that does not preclude having traditional pet classes.
What characteristics of an MMORPG do you look at most?
