Try Wonderland Online. It is still in beta phase but open to anyone. Very cute, nice pet system, not super difficult, yet not super easy either. It also has a housing system where you can build up and decorate your own home (tent) and a lot of crafting options. There is also a remote system that a lot of people seem to like. And there is an exp system when grouping where you can get more exp for bursting with a grp.
Sounds very interesting. Is it F2P or P2P? And is it a very large download? I'll check out the site, but figured I would ask here too. Better to give a bit of detail like that when recommending a game, will catch more attention for those who are really looking.
I would have to agree about EVE. Runescape to me was totally boring and pointless and slow. Tabula Rasa looks like it could be good, but I haven't actually played it yet. And although there are a lot of similarities Everquest is always good, for me anyhow, some people don't like it but I have been on there since opening of PS2 version (have account for EQPC but my computer has issues with it). Vanguard may also be one to check out. And the new Age of Conan when it is released.
I was kind of looking for the same... seems majority of the games out there now lack a storyline and focus on grinding all the time. I am playing Elf online now, and it isn't as bad as some, but I still think I will get tired of the grinding before long. The first 15 levels go so quick then all of a sudden it slows down a lot unless you get a grp with higher levels and kill stuff a lot bigger. So far that hasn't been much of an option though either as not many people around. ![]()
