    Well, if you have never played any of the earlier incarnations of SWG, then you will not be absolutely mortified by the changes/revamps made to the game....can't miss what you never had.

  • I really don't think the SWG card game is going to amount to much, excpet milking a few fanbois of $$$$ in their never ending quest to be the 'uber l33test' toon. You know what is said about fools and their money....

  • Wow.....just wow. I feel many emotions - from wonderful warm and fuzzies over the fond memories to deep regret over what has been lost. If anyone doesn't understand how much the NGE gutted and dumbed down SWG, they just need to review these pages.

  • Apparently, the badge is not as 'random' as the devs would lead players to believe, and it appears that the location of where a toon stands greatly increases the odds of getting a badge. Here is a quote from a player named sajj -

    O.k. so this is the last time, Once again players standing on that exact WP got the badge once again. I have posted this in light of the fact that many of the GM's at the Online Help Center do not think it is a Exploit and many of the players do not think it is either. This is of no issue to me so there should be no reason that this posting should be modified, deleted or locked.
    
    I am simply stating that this has been where I have "Noted" the badges to be given:
    
    Imperial: -5494 4483 Or "anywhere within the smaller 1st room entrance at Theed Palace".
    
    Rebel: -183 -4155 Or "anywhere within the Theater".

    The goggles are actually a monicle - about identicle to the ones given away last year....a recycled gift so to speak. I believe there is a goggle collection/quest, but it lools like a full face shield/sneeze guard. I also believe the gift and quest ones do not have adjustable colors on them - I am sure a current player can confirm this or correct my information.

    It appears that the event went live this morning majorly bugged, so it has been delayed. There is also quite a few players going on and on and on about how only one player of each faction is selected per hour to be honored with a special badge and title. This shouldn't be an issue on most servers, hehe.
