    Rofl and who says mature people dont "Trash talk"  Looks like its not only the 15 year olds playing WoW PvP whom are l33t might I add (Hint: theres sarcasm somewhere in here!).   No its not only a game that would allow you to show whose really better than each other by being able to fight in competitions, tournaments, or over something fullfiling such as land.  Oh and that whole thing where owning a dungeon, area or even a town would actually mean something.  "WOOT WE OWN THIS AREA CAUSE WE DID A 3 HOUR QUEST!  OH N0EZ THERES SOMEONE ELSE DOING THE QUEST WE BETTER GET READY TO DO IT AGAIN!!"  
    
    Please man if you want to talk smack might as well do it for something alittle more than over a video game preferance.

As a well written blog a few months ago appropriately stated, a lotta "honorless dogs" out there. I know the majority of opponents I've faced in various games were twinked out using their higher level char for equipment and weapons or hacks using attacks and skills they shouldn't be able to use or just plain attacked as I was recovering from a PvE encounter. In the 7 years I've pvpd I can count on 1 hand how many times I've been taken on 1 on 1,face to face with full hp in a reasonably even match in a D&D type mmo. I personally get no pleasure preying on the weak, I prefer to prey on the predator, my favorite was tormenting the ganking, griefer bastards and corpse camping their a$$ as retribution.

    Been workin on a game for some time and have a similar criminal designation as Earthrise for these guys eventually resulting in the possibility of perma-death. Now that's entertainment. Would be interesting to see how hardcore these guys are if they knew one of these days they may lose that twink of theirs forever and his land auctioned off to the highest bidder, all proceeds going to all offended parties whose death registered a minus to faction.

    
    Old school AC DT ftw.  Same creators as DnD and if it was just bugless it would be still surpassing LOTRO and DnD to this day.  But sadly AC is turbines bastard child.  
    
    In any case in the old days of AC DT before the major bugs found the way up to the actaul gameplay, you could easily take 2 people on at once as long as you knew how to use your character.  It didnt matter so much what level you were but just about how you used your character which I cant seem to find in a game to this day =(.  I hope some day they bring out a ****** server that we can play on for **** with old school "Hardcore" rules.

  • Mack:  SOME PEOPLE also love to eat rotten meat, SOME people believe in buddah SOME people believe in the profit mohammad.  The fact that you say SOME PEOPLE, being a very small amount in your definition, would enjoy this game.  Which is false, please stop trying to say THE ONLY WAY TO PLAY IS CAREBEAR and try to make an approach that is all i ever hear from carebears and acta  bit more "Mature" and say SUPER have fun with it but im not gonna put my money into something that has a competative edge.
    
    To all who believe tha tits a waste of money just because you lose items, theres many things you can do in order to avoid it being so harsh on you rlives.   
    
    1) stock up on armor
    
    2) realize these games are balanced around full loot thus weapons/armor/jewlery are normaly cheap and easy to come by
    
    3) realize that there are some peole to like everything, full loot pvp being one of them, get over yourself and stop trying to flood these threads with "This game will fail because i say so"    Case in point, ultima Online is alive to this day, and it started out full loot pvp.

  • Rofl i love how the carebears come into the PVP games forums to tell everyone how their little kids or even emo's for wanting to play PVP based games.  LITTLE KID ALL YOU LIKE TO DO IS KILL LVL 1'S, CUT YOURSELF AND TALK TRASH.  Yet there was only 1 person talking any shit about carebear o.0's and that was after the o.0's came in to talk trash.  Good job carebears for making asses of yourselves.

    So like I told them you know Lord of the Rings Online, only the most famous fantasy story out there turned into an MMO! 

    Finally I got a response, "Oh that game, hasn't that game been shut down, we havn't had stock of that game or gamecards since a month after launch!  All I've heard was that it sucks, nobody plays it and it was shut down like 6 months ago!" 

    {I'm thinking; well regardless of how a game might have turned out, or not!  Not knowing about the current popular games and passing along horrible intel to other customers and ur an employee of a game store, that pretty pathetic, these ppl should be fired!}

    Anyway I went into a bit more that the game was live and doing exceptionally well, and that I want this dumb-ass $20 credit turned into cash and that I would never shop at any of your stores again!  With quite a bit of resistance and little more heated complaining on my part the manager gave me the cash and I left!

    
    with all due respect i'd rather them be talking liek this than sell a game that was already shut down.  OH WAIT *dOH*.  
    
    I just remembered the last time I went to gamestop they were selling RFonline for 30 dollars (Game was made Free to play months before then).
