I have noticed a lot of people are hating this game or not really reading about it. Since there is not really any gameplay videos or really a lot of screen shots. I really think if people gave this game a chance got on the ER forums, read about it more, learned about the company and talked about it more. People will really losen up about being skeptical about this game.
But this is open for discussion. Why are you not interested in ER?
P.S. This game is going to be 2000x better than FE (Fallen Earth)

I think the full loot could work with insurance, the reason I won't be playing is the auction house instant shopping economy. Unfortunately that's an MMORPG deal breaker for me.
what do you mean by "auction house instant shopping economy"?
I would like to know that also.
Well they did say that the gameplay was mostly inspired by Ultima Online and EVE online.
For those who are interested in the game and want to learn more about Earthrise. I will just post some helpful links and hints on finding info on the forums.
1. If you really want to know what Earthrise is all about and the story of Enterra. www.play-earthrise.com/ Explore it. Click on the information bar. Learn about Earthrise and also learn about Enterra Island.
If you want to see some concept arts and some screens shots than click on media.
Also I would highly recommend people to click on the news. It will show past and recent news. Right below the news is the newsletters. Which will allow you to see all three newsletters that have been released so far.
2. forums.play-earthrise.com/ The forums is a really great place. The community is great. The devs are the best. They really keep track on what is going on in the forums. Moll is the BEST!
But the one place you will get the most information from is the QOTW. Every week since may 1st there has been a new QOTW added. These questions are mainly asked by the community. forums.play-earthrise.com/index.php You can learn a lot from these QOTW.
Tip: If you are looking for something specific use the search. forums.play-earthrise.com/index.php
Also a good place to see interviews, latest information about earthrise, or news. Is at the announcements. forums.play-earthrise.com/index.php
3. If you are just too lazy to read all of the forums and search for specific stuff. You are in luck. One of the community members made a helpful thread that gives you pretty much everything. From screenshots to the latest information on Earthrise. forums.play-earthrise.com/index.php
4. For those like me that are interested in the people who are actually creating the game and want to learn more about them. www.mastheadstudios.com/
Also here is a link to there partners. www.play-earthrise.com/index.php
I think they removed the q1 2009 statement. I am having troubles finding it. I searched and the most recent person to ask moll just said 2009. but does it really matter if it comes out on q1. Would it make that much of a difference if it came out q3 or q4? I would hope games get delayed in closed beta. That just means that they are actually finding problems and are fixing it. To me a delay is the best thing. I rather have a game that comes out that is a little bit buggy than a game that is REALLY buggy and messed up everywhere. I know there has never been a perfect launch. The launch is a big factor.
But having a great number of people interested in the game even when it is not in beta. Is a great thing. I really think people should go to the hyperlink that Horizonz posted. It is really a great place to get information about Earthrise. In fact I will post the hyperlink. forums.play-earthrise.com/index.php
Having a good base number of people interested in a game before it comes out could really mean how successful a game is.
What characteristics of an MMORPG do you look at most?
