So what do we have to judge the game on? A 600+ MB Video. The graphics are about all that we can judge. And yes, they are important. MMO's need to create immersive, believable worlds - worlds people are willing to pay money to play in. What's more, all the griefer's and PK's that follow this game should welcome an inviting game world; it's hard to get your nut off fucking with people if no one else plays the game.
Besides, it's as absurd to criticize people for judging the games graphics as it is to praise the gameplay of a games you've NEVER played. How do you know the game is "Awesome!!"
The only complaint I would level at Darkfall's graphics are the water effects. I realized water is near impossible to get right, even in single player games. But in the ship sequences the water looks terrible, especially when the ships are sinking.
It's the players fault! It's always the players fault.
Dwarfs. I don't care what game it is, they're short, fat, ugly, bearded freaks. Kill them all!!
"harassed PE to the point of collapse"
Now that's funny. So now that we've killed Perpetual Entertainment, who should we ruin next?
