    • Which race do you hate the most?
    • Well, since there's no gnomes, I'm gonna have to say dwarves.  Never liked them as a TT army, they were such a static let's just sit here and not move and wait for them to come to us kind of army.  Not my kind of playstyle.  As much as I normally hate elves in other games, kind of looking forward to the ones in WAR.

    • Yeah, that was my only concern, the release for PC and console.  Still, can't help but feel excited, especially considering that it mentions opportunity to play as a Klingon, which if I remember correctly the Perpetual version wasn't going to have (I could be wrong, been a while since I paid any attention to that version).  Keeping my fingers crossed that this is done well.

    • In keeping with the theme of this thread:

You had me at hello...then you lost me with SOE.

And, as a long time comic book nerd, I wish I could be excited about this game.  But the fact is I'm a little nervous.  I've always been a bigger Marvel fan, but I do love DC as well.  I just can't imagine that any mmo, especially one that's being developed for console play, will live up at all to the great memories I have of the DC universe.  Call me a pessimist, but it seems to me like I won't be able to help but be let down when 70 years of comic history is crammed down into a button masher.  Add to it the fact it's being run by SOE and will therefore probably be released half finished and bugged as hell, and a sense of impending doom washes over me.  Hell, I don't know if any developer could make a good DC mmo that would live up to my admittedly lofty expectations.

I'm not trying to convince anyone not to play this, and in fact it may be a very well developed mmo upon its release, but for my own sanity I don't think I'll be going anywhere near it.  Whatever, just my two cents.

    • Poll: Warhammer Battles (Table Top Games)
    • I played Fantasy and 40k for quite a while, but haven't touched them in a few years.  Played Mordheim a bit when the old hobby shop had sessions (could use those miniatures for Fantasy army).  I played Skaven since the day I bought the boxed set, they were the included army and I never looked back.  Probably had like 5k worth of the little bastards.  Also had a smaller Beastmen army, not sure what my aversion to any kind of ranged combat was in that game.  40k I used World Eaters and Iron Warriors, had a blast with the conversion work.  But yeah, I've been eagerly awaiting the mmorpg since it was announced, will be there with bells on when it comes out.

How do you feel about advertising inside games?

I think they should advertise whatever they want
It is OK so long as it is in the context of the game
This is just wrong, no ads in games...period.
