    • Few things Mythic should CHANGE before the release !

      1. Scenarios pairing

-Lack of class archetypes in certain realms is seriously affecting low level scenario balance.

Right now for example Ironbreaker can fly to human area and help scenario there. But why should he leave his questing area ?

Make other races scenarios joinable. Call it " Help the allies " ...

This will not only make the class inbalance even out. But also seriously cut queue waiting time. Big quick win !

      2. Tooltips

-Tested and proven , the game is playable by keyboard turner mouse clickers.
Problem is that MOUSE OVER TOOLTIP , always appears above the pointer and blocks large portion of the screen.

      This should be adjusted.

You should be able to make tooltip appear just after x amount of time. And tooltip should be movable. Tip - look how its done in LOTRO

      ...

Lets go on to bigger changes

      1.Voice chat.

There is no excuse. PVP oriented game like WAR should have it.

Absolutely every time i play scenarios we lose because there is no communication.
Healers do not heal. Tanks run like headless chickens and groups split up.

Sure there is Vent and such applications. But they are mostly used in guilds and groups of friends. Whats with PUG's , casual players. AUTOMATIC FAIL ?

      This should not be so.

Cmmon Mythic. EVEN LOTRO HAS VOICE CHAT !

THIS IS A MUST! Maybe not for Launch, but it should be one of priorities!!!!

      2. Knight OTBS

Lack of this class is seriously hurting Order popularity. Order really needs more COOL classes. And heavy shining full plate sword wielding knight is what many "do gooders" want to play.

I think that simple returning of this class would significantly bring back players to order side and partialy heal realm pop inballance.

      1. Just because you do not know how to play in other pairings does not mean its broken or needed to be added. Try this in your guild/circle of friends, Take one dwarf, one elf and one human all in their starting areas. One of you use /partyinvite for the other 2. Once grouped, you all join the scenario as a "party". Once the scenario pops you are all pulled into that pairing scenario as a group regardless where you are.

      2. Already fixed.

      3. Not needed.

      4. If you add one class to one side, you have to balance that and add a class to the other. The KoTBS made a short appearance in beta but was treturned to the drawing board for tweaks. The Dark Elf tank which would also need to be added to keep balance was never tested. So to keep realm balance, not adding the Dark Elf tank resulted in the KoTBS removal. The Order side does lack some appeal over Destruction, but on the side note the Order side has far better mechanics in their classes.

    • WAR 120 lvls? ha ha come on...

I just found out in WAR you lvl up to 40 in pve then start going up 80 lvls in PVP

      pve = 40 lvls

      PVP = 80 lvls

      = 120 lvl.

come on.. what were they thinking.. I would much rather have the WoW system where I get tickets for cool items rather then xp and lvls. What happens if I want to pvp and I am lvl 4 and some lvl 80 jackass finds me? :/ At least with tickets I have a fair chance still and wont get completely owned.

In any case I think this is going to hurt WAR heavily. Who the hell wants to get PVP xp and lvls? PvP should simply be for a quick meaningless battle. Keep it to the PVE raids to have purpose...

You get gear and stats from your RvR lvls. Whats the difference from having 80 RvR lvls or requiring XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX tickets or factions?

      World of Warcraft
    • Bunny hopping makes you faster?
    • The "Jumper" is using the colision detection of the building to "slide" while straffing. You can not do that in the open. You can also not tell if the "Jumper" is using sprint while testing or not.

WAR was specifically designed to try to get away from grinding mobs to level. Of course, no matter what you kill you could call it a grind if you are doing something repetitive that you DO NOT enjoy, but if you do enjoy what you're doing and gain xp doing it, I don't think it CAN be a grind.

You say quests are the only way to gain xp? I don't see how this is possible when you can go from 1-40 without doing a single quest. Just kill other players to level.

      PQs give xp

Tome of Knowledge stuff gives xp

      Exploring gives xp

      Personal quests give xp

      Scenarios (BGs) give xp

      Open world RvR gives xp

It seems to me there isn't much in the entire game that does not gain a player xp. I think you would find it very hard NOT to level up in WAR.I mean, just walking around unlocks TOK stuff which will gain you xp.

Yes, everything gives XP, but only quests give a good amount. I gained level 5 by doing the first PQ 10 times, that took more than an hour, then I do 3 quests in 10 minutes and gain another level. Grinding quest and grinding mobs is the same thing but I don't like grinding quests.

As for items not mattering then what do I do things for? Renown and reputation don't give a nice DING! feeling, you barely even notice it when you gain some.

What drew me to this game was how they advertised it as a game that makes you feel like you have a purpose. I want to feel like I'm accomplishing something when I'm doing a PQ, a scenario or just killing mobs for no reason. I know I'm part of the war effort and I need to contribute but I have yet to feel like it, I'm not seeing my accomplishments impacting the world.

Edit: Oh, and I forgot a big one. Character Customization, where is it? I can't choose which stats to raise or anything, the only thing to do when you level up is to buy your next skill. I never understood why a game would show you stats but make you unable to alter them aside from items.

Another tester who got to lvl 5 and didnt like what he saw.  You have plenty of chances to change your stats, you just havent seen them yet. Tactics, Talismans, Potions, Renown skills, and the choices in the accessory slots.

You didn't see the effect of your PQ on the game world because there were 368541365423864 new players on both sides doing the same PQs in the same Tier. Look at the slide bar above your map that shows zone control. RvR, Scenarios, BOs are not the only things that affect that slide, PQs do as well. Lock a zone and get the BUFF, or help raise Altdorf's /Inevitable city lvl by doing PQs there for a Side wide buff.

Grind mobs, its actually pretty fun. You will unlock tactics, XP, titles from grinding mobs in the game.
