Yeah, just about every beta I've been in allowed me to connect to the patch server before the game was opened for play, which is why I personally was caught off guard by the whole thing until a friend cleared things up.

- Black Prophecy was a hoax?
The parent company 10tacle Studios filed for insolvency and closed it's doors on August 6, and with it developer Reakktor Media also had to file for insolvency, but have since escaped closing it's own doors and remain in production of Black Prophecy and continuing to run Neocron.

There's a pretty good list of MMO-related terms that you can view here. Though, at least through Firefox, you'll want to copy/paste that text into Notepad. Little hard on the eyes.
That's what Ctrl-+ and Ctrl-- are for. It changes the font sizes.
So I've heard.

Or with many titles it could quite possibly be the developers realizing that they can get a lot more buck for their bang if they work multiple deals with different publishers, as opposed to just selling one the rights to make a global version.
