  • and this is why i HATE world of warcrack. not because its a good/bad game but because thanks to WoW's indoctoring in to MMOs. it created idiots who think they know everything about mmos..

    before WoW MMO's were played by a small group of people.  as each gamer was split over their respected fields

    but wow bridged that and brought mmo'er and rts'er in to one game. NOW as great as that is. it created idiots who think they are pro spuing garbage about stuff they know jack snot about. why do i say this you wonder..

    the OP is sitting here bashing a game NOT EVEN IN BETA... the game granted might have crappy graphics its animation might be chunky or dated BUT who cares.  people play D1 and D2 still. people still play ultima online.. and ww2 still HELL some people still play side scrollers like maple story. or 2d/2.5d games like conqueronline and others.

    just because they dont match someones idea of GOD game doesnt mean others share that same thought process... some people still use windows 95.... others use vista... does that make win 95 any less good then vista? hell no. SURE win 95 sucks but so does all windows after 3.11 and dos.. but people still use it.

     

    so people WILL pay for and play darkfall. i want to try it as the story concept sounds interesting SURE the game eng looks like crap but meh... as long as it doesnt lag or fry my pc i dont care if it was stick figures...

     

    well ok maybe not stick figures but damn close to it...

     

    so dear mr/mrs/it OP please go back to school get out of your parents basement put down the WoW cheat card sheet for drop ratios and tables and for god sakes use your brain for a change before it rots from lack of use...

  • umm blizzard is just as bad... almost any mmo company sucks with bugs and server problems at launch...

    oh and its a closed beta test... open beta/launch isnt started yet only if you get the pre-order keys can you join it.

    so you cant really re-register accounts cause normally once a key is used.. its used.

     

    did you bother to check the testing part of their player forum for error reports? or did you just go to their main site and start whining? lulz

     

    if you didnt bother to read their forums for stuff.... you belong in WoW....

  • im on the fence i like DF it seemed like a nice game when it was planed christ... whats it been 5yrs now or something..

     

    BUT the new video really kind of turned me off.  im not a big fan of super godly graphics i mean i still play 2.5D games at times and we all know how craptasticly mcCrappy they can be for graphics n game play.

    but the video for DF really didnt make me want to play it more.. :/ they look worse then HL1 did when it came out in 07 THOUGH at the time they rocked for graphics..

     

    i might still try DF but really they need to boost the textures and animation on it. sure they can claim its do to the system eng or whatever but most mmo'ers now days are noobs who started with WoW so graphics mean the world to them.. im old school i like gameplay but i do like some niceness in graphics.. :/

    i never hyped it nor do i plan to cause personally hype means as much as giving a big mac to a vegan...

    if the community cares sooo much about how hyped DF or other games are... they are clearly retarded noobs who should stick to WoW cause a game doesnt require hype meters to say how good or bad it is...

    it requires the community and word of mouth to promote it.. :/ if people play games based on hype... WELL im sure i could hype disney toon town up to rank 1 and make everyone play that.. OR how about my little pony?

     

    how does everyone like that.. lets play dress up with ponies and comb their hair.. or whatever the hell you do with my little ponies cause clearly if its hyped to spot 1.. it must be the greatest game on the planet....

     

    <- doesnt care what rank DF is.. if it sucks it sucks.. rank 1 spot on hype means nothing if the game sucks total Bs... im going to wait to try it before i judge it on any sort of hypo-graphic

  • there is only 1 space based MMO that can top WAR.. and maybe kick WoW between its legs and thats

    warhammer 40k ^_^ if they made a mmo/fps/rpg based off warhammer 40k HOLY HELL it would rock.. ^_^ though hard to balance if they added half the powerhouse units haha

    still 1mill is hard for a company to make back if it messes up too early

     

    only games that dont flop sooo bad at F2P games cause they make money off item malls but even that is never enough ill be depressed if come release WAR some how messes up and flops cause all the hype and the fact i played the T.T of it for many years :( and have wished for it to come out after the first warhammer online was canned
