    Yeah, I've been seeing those kind of rumors, hope they are not true.  Mark Jacobs releasing 3 pieces of information about the game to this site today, maybe one of them will be an update on the release date target.

    I think it will be release Feb-March 2009
    Pure speculation Iam basing on:
    - Dont think sharing shelfs with WoW Lich exp. will be ok by EA
    - Only focus beta testing and I would expect they wanna have some proper one for at least 3 months
    By proper I mean live server when you progress and play as you would once game is released.

    Well all polls here are useless as majority of visitors who vote did not even try the game.
    Guess what all LOTRO, WoW, Warhammer etc... fans will vote

    I went and check Vanguard again, note Iam still playing Age of Conan but that Vanguards free subscription got me curios in a way did they really fix and add so much stuff or its just on desperate attempt to get more players... unfortunately its the latter.
    
    So for the time being I will stick with AoC despite some bugs and missing content.
    
    If Funcom is lucky by the time WAR is released they could have some polished game with more end game content.

    Somehow I dont believe that WAR will be released this year, not because of Mythic  but EU they are in red numbers this year as they spend lots on buying BioWare, Pandemic Studios.
    Dont think they will wanna share shelfs with WoW's Lich King.
