Soooo... That means no Spore for me!! Ahaha!
Anyone knows if the characters from this Weekend + will be saved to open beta or be wiped again?
It's pretty certain that the Preview and Open Beta characters will be wiped. The only ones that carry over would be from the CE Head Start.
I think he's asking if the characters we make Friday/Saturday will get rolled over into the Open Beta on Sunday. I would like to know that as well.
According to this www.warhammeralliance.com/forums/showthread.php
"The preview weekend is not the open beta. The US is not getting two extra days of OB access.

Like the announcement says, this is just a final stress test to possibly iron out any problems before the open starts. The PW characters will be wiped by Sunday.
Then again, who knows. Not like Mythic in the end can't change their minds. I just wouldn't put too much effort into it.

To the OP:
You DO realise that the maker of UO made a NEW MMORPG at the end of 2007.
Tabula rasa. Hello ? still awake ?
Enough said.....
At least know your history if you’re going to insult someone. As anyone who was actually around during the development of UO knows the primary man behind its game world and design was Raph Koster AKA: Designer Dragon. Not Garriott, as usual he was too busy running around throwing medieval pajama parties and being pk'd in the game Raph was creating.
Also, Garriott was nothing more than a producer of Tabula Rasa. Not a designer of either game.
It's not a coincidence the two most opened-ended sandbox style mmo's ever created were UO and SWG. Raph was the lead designer behind both. Guess someone should have let NCSoft know that before they lost all that money.

I did not see that one coming. What does HG:L have that appeal so much to the asian market?
Apparently nothing.
