Im Completely stunned that Curt Schilling is into MMORPG's...thats amazing. Hopefully...with Curt's money he'll develope an extremely in-depth game.
First off this is a iso-metric game, which is cool and all BUT, the game lacks many things even for a free iso-metric game!
Lacks new-player guide
NO community what-so-ever
GMs are hardly on
Leveling is odd
I dont recommend this game.
if you want an iso-metric game try "Endless-online"
Uhmm...everyone I believe that this game was fixed (considering the time of the first poster) I have NEVER encounted any of the problems everyone is talkign about. The only problem might be downloading the game and setting up and account.
I do agree that this could be a potential "item mall" scam though, any way, give this game a try...
Hey, GW will never die even with the release of GW2. Sure, the community will shrink, but I can gaurentee taht there will always be people playing guildwars.
So yeah, 1 year is deffeniently enough time. you'll probally be wanting the next expansion a month later.
I suggest starting with the first one in the story line, Prophecies.
To honest I dont think this game is great, and feel that there are a lot of other great free mmo's out there compared to this. I dont think the graphics are great even for a free mmorpg, but thats not the problem...I played this and constantly got called a newb and all that jazz., also no one helped me.
Oh, and for heaven sakes dont upgrade...Spend a little more and buy NC Softs best game...Guild Wars.
