    Does this have implications on SWG? You bet it does, as many of the current players (who are also quite fed up with SOE) are admitting to being ready for a new SW MMO.  Which means another major hit to sub numbers.

    What you fail to see is that your bitching has done nothing for the state of the game.  People aren't playing it en-mass because it is a crappy game.  That has nothing to do with how vocal the fans are.  SOE has only themselves to blame for this.  There may be a few hundred people on this forum that are complete pre-cu "fanbois" (as you like to call the people enjoying the game) or are only trailing you because it is "cool".   This is nothing in the wide-eye of things.
    The only way and I mean the ONLY way the "Vets" will "win" anything is if SOE releases a pre-cu server.  It is inevitable that an MMO shuts down.  Hell I could say " WoW is going to shut down!  Mark my words!" and when the game does shut down does that mean anything?  No it doesn't, everything runs in cycles.

You didn't do anything, I demote myself as a vet I refuse to be part of a group who thinks they have some type of power over the events of SWG. Time is running out and SOE screwed themselves, you did nothing but whine and still get nothing out of it.

    SOE isn't running scared LA is with SOE, LucasFilms is with Bioware two complete different division I guarantee you SWG will still be running on station pass for many years to come. You lost just face it and you are going to loose again when you find out BioWare won't cater to your terrorist demands. You four should really join Anonymous, you sound just like them.

    An announcement to the stock market is an official announcement; AVE will be running the new Gaming Division, not Aventurine, and they will be giving 35% of sales income to them (compared to the standard 15% of sales that other distributors do normally). That, to any open-minded person, means a publishing deal is at hand; it's not final due to all the bureaucratic crap one has to go through to form that division and get all pertaining permits.
     
    If, on the other hand, you think that the game not being at stores yet, signifies there being no publishing deal, then I'm sorry but the discussion is simply an irrational contradiction without any argumentation...
     
    @Silvarch: yes, it is not final and anything could happen between now and scheduled release (even cancelling of the project)...but I highly doubt it, barring any acts of God of course...
