Then your comprehension skills are clearly very lacking. Read again, the point is that is popularity is decreasing at an alarming (for FC) rate.

    • Trouble is old Gaulte Gonard has proved himself time and again to be an inveterant liar. I do hope they deliver for those that are still sticking with AoC....just don't hold your breath.

I'll try again in a year or 18 months maybe.

So, to answer your comments I repeat, Xfire is not a valid random sample of the average player base.

So what? On Launch day the majority where below the age limit too. We are comparing now to launch day. With this sort of caomparison the actual demographic matters far less.

Comparing 18+ year old crossfire users at launch with 18+ year old crossfire users now is valid.

ok link to where you get these figures from please? In my playing of 2 months I find the opposite is true regarding the age of players.

Yet more made up bullshit and untruths. How about i poll all my guildies (150+) to see how many use xfire?

I dont know  what figures you are talking about? Are you addressing me? I guess not as I did not provide any figures. You seem to be having trouble not only with comprehension but expressing your point to. Have another go but as it is yu make no sense sir. What the hell does it mater how many of your guildies use Xfire? That is not what we are atlking about. All people are doing is comparing Xfire hours at launch vs Xfire hours logged now what has how many of your guild using Xfire got to do with anything? Poll your guildies by all means but what do you plan to show by doing that?

    • Ok Magus thats a reasonable argument though I am not sure I completely agree with it. Tbh I am not really sure of the demograhic of Xfire users (who is) but don't believe they are completely squeud. Jackdog discusses the whole casual vs hardcore thing and how it might relate to Xfire earlier in the thread.

I hate to use the 'fail' word willy nilly but it is apropriate in this context. I do think AoC fails as a long term MMORPG whether you are casual or not. Once you have experienced the content (a lot of which is enjoyable) there really is nothing to do. There is a good chance there will be an exodus of 'casuals' 3 or 4 months in. Of course that might have started already and we would not observe that through Xfire if your argument holds :)
