    The difference is AoC has only been around for 4 months not those other games which were released for years and AoC also sold more boxes so it has a larger box base to draw from in gaining back players not to mention the rumors of losses were heavily exaggerated.  So what I think will happen is that now that they have turned the corner we will see AoC turn the corner and AoC has so much going for it as computers get better and server technology gets better they will be able to alleviate the few problems AoC had and as a result it will improve to the point that it is the #2 MMO in North America!

    I dont know what level you are in AoC but the game has much more problems than technical.

    Now cause I have abs nothing to do in AoC I started to play a free mmorpg PerfectWorld; guess what - no bugs at all and it has a lot of interesting things. In many ways its much better than AoC and its free. Ah and it seems is has much more players in Asia than wow . eq, aoc and all rest together.

    PS If you guys are bored try also Dreamlords - also free and a lot of fun too.

    Hmm frankly I would be extremely happy if FC will die . They deserve at least this for doing what they did on purpose, if nobody has the time to sue them and get our money and time back.

    In fact if I'd known where these guys and Tahitoa lives I'd like to find them and express myself directly too.

  • After one week of playing AoC I posted on the official forums to ask for Godager resignation. I got fast a warning.

    Today I posted just to say that it is waay too late and the game is dead and that stupid nazi Tahitoa banned me !

    On these board I posted also after I checked the game and I said the game will be dead very fast and I just wanted my money back and I got a warning too.

    Cause I had to agree to some ppl that was not fair to decide game is shitty after just one week I kept playing.

    Now I finished ALL the contenet available and I can tell you for sure the game will never recover .

    The only thing this new guy can do is to fire all the incompetents and ppl who were in FC due to the corruption of Godager and rest and try to make new target for the game - like 200k subscribers but I dont think they will get enough cash to support this idea.

     

    After abt 11 years of mmorpgs and 23 of gaming I've never seen such incompetence, arrogance and lack of respect for the cusomers than I've experienced in AoC !

  • WTFS, you mean I am obliged to quest and use the stupid day / night  "feature" to get out of  the stupid  small  Tortage and not only to ding 20 ???

    I am almost 18, grinding to get out and see for myself if the rest of the game is as stupid as I've seen by now, I stopped doing any quest and I cant care less abt the voice acting or "story".

    Ah and any of you can imagine real raiding in this ? rofl

  • Yes, after playing mmorpgs for abt 10 years I can say for sure that this "mmorpg" is a bad way down the drain. No open zones, stupid quests with stupid rewards, graphic is much better in Lotro and even GW cause of the freedom to go anywhere on much bigger zones, extremely linear, no mail, no auction house no crafting/ economy...sooo bad game I cant even imagine how some idiots say they've spent 5 years to make this Dungeon SIege clone.

    I was sooo bored of the other games that I even bought the Collectors Edition. Dont do it, the map is on a "faux" leather, barely readable and smelly as hell, no wood box, just some normal cardboard, the book is useless (and on top of that I didnt even get the ingame items cause they have some problems.

    The "support" is stupid, it took 6 hours to reply to a petition, the guy that answered had no idea how to solve it cause he was only a volunteer so he just took my petition off cause they considered someone answered...right ?

    The site petition took 1 day to reply with just an automated mail saying they cant solve all particullar problems and gave me just some links from their site. Ah and no real forum ....

    Ah and you cant see position of your grp members, not even class without specifically rightclicking ....soo stupid  :(

    
    Too many things to tell...no need to answer, was just a warning to ppl who didnt buy -stay away or you'll want your money back !
