From your very limited description i would put my guess on Perfect World Online.
Here is a link

The game does need more quests from 50-60 but i disagree with 40-50 as i didnt find that hard atall. Alot of people seem to just stay in 1 area and then complain when tehy run out of quests, one of the great things i have found about AoC is that there are mutliple areas that i can level in all the way from 20-50.
Really though anyone who says that it is hard to level in this game must be a terrible player. People where max level by the end of the first week and even more hit it in the second week.

Who cares, AoC will carve out a big community for itself and WoW will still have a huge amount of players. Niether of the 2 are going to kill each other.

It is done some what like that and its a good job to, can you imagine trying to run a game like AoC in open world form, that would have terrible effects even on high end computers.
I really don't understand why people hate it so much, ok it ruins immersion abit, but it improves performance tenfold.
Also the game is to good to even worry about such a small thing =D.

The start of the game is linear yes, but it also has a very interesting story line to follow. Once you get into Tortage there are a bunch of quests you can do if you want or you can do your story quest which is a hell of alot more fun and the story actually makes you feel like you are part of somthing.
Im loving it =D.
