  • What's this? I'm having a problem I can't actually log in because of some authentication error.

    Authentication Error

    You can not upgrade prior Beta accounts to IGN Open Beta status. If you have tried to do this please go to https://betaregister.ageofconan.com and create a new Open Beta Account.

    You must use the IGN Open Beta Client to connect to the Open Beta event. You can not log in with a previous beta client

    What do they mean by this do I have to download a new client to get my account working?

     *EDIT* I got it working now..

    Open the world map and look

    There is around 10 other zones except Tortage. And Tortage , is actually very small zone.

    Open skill tree (or check skill tree on web) and notice that all the skills are pretty much the same.

    Compare the classes and see that they are also pretty much similar in their gameplay.

    Loading screens, waiting for 5 minutes , over and over again ...

    Usually i go nuts over the new games , and can stop playing them for at least first 20 hours.

    I logged out AOC yesterday , to watch episode of Heroes on internet ... i just didnt feel like playing it

    It just didnt grab me.

     

    Same here it did not grab me... when WoW  was released I played for like 3 days without sleeping but this... nah Id rather watch some Naruto or something...

  • TSSSSS........ I'm only playing AoC for the graphix, pve and NOT PVP because it just suck balls most boring ever... WoW was better or it is better..

  • But It still seems that I have a different problem then you guys.. I just checked my brother and he is playing it now, the loading screen takes like 1 minute or less and for me it takes 5 minutes or less its just very laggy and it seems like you guys can just tune down the settings and it will just float on and you'll be able to play like always except for you have worse graphix... am I right or are we all sharing the same problem u called "chunking"?

    It's really freaking me out..! and BTW I newly re installed my computer... formatted or whatever its called..

    If this is just some kind of stress test does that mean that they won't do any patching or what?
