• • Question for those who played at release (Jedi)

  • I was never into being a jedi early on...

     

    But I always thought it was cool to catch one running into the dessert or hurrying into a hidden location.  They were like the unspoken race back then.  (I didn't come on before release so I never saw what it was like with no jedi)

    But having an alpha class was not so big a deal to me...afterall, bounty hunters were built pretty tough and I saw my share of jedi put down by them....in one shot too sometimes...lol...one time a jedi was chillin at the cantina and a BH ganked him in one shot and his body flung right into the middle of the room where 30 or so musicians and dancers were going at it...LOL.

  • I didn't pursue the jedi path until after the CU...so I was far from alone..  (hundreds in the village at a time I recall)

     

    But I unlocked my jedi 12  TWELVE days.....before the nge hit....  talk about a terrible tragedy!!!

     

    I remember going out and getting my jedi capped by a womp rat just outside Eisley....  I thought "I did all this work grinding for THAT?"

    The next day I cancelled all 3 of my accounts.  and...made sure I got my money back on the stupid trials of obiwan expansion.

  • Well I been reading this thread and am surprised noone else has said this before...maybe some thought it but refused to say it...

     

    Shame on you vets for logging back in!  :P

    You honestly didn't think there would be anything of substance to bring you back did you? 

    For the OP... you saw all those ppl on the servers because they were like most here...trying that free trial yet again...  Soe has dropped the free trial gimmick on us several times since the NGE...don't fall for it. 

    Of course...I'm saying this ONLY half way seriously, because I myself am tempted time and time again to try it...but I refrain due to time constraints..lol.

    I've tried like 8 other MMo's since SWG (PRE NGE and PRE CU) and none compare to what it was.  NONE.

    I've been popping my head in this forum for over 2 years now.....  sigh....  I come in here hoping to see some new update or news about SMED being fired or quitting....  That guy needs to be sent packing. And so does Torres....He smirks and gives that cocky grin whenever he talks about us vets...he thinks were dogs.  There a guy who needs sent packing too.

  • camping for free lindens is a SLOW way to do it!!!!  lol.    Try crafting/building stuff.  try hosting club events, easy and plenty of clubs need hosts..or game hosting!! haha....or did they ban gaming of all forms that involved "gambling" ...i can't remember as I never was into gambling.    There are plenty of ways to get 3-500L in an hour as a club host....but camping out is still a way....lol.
