Warhammer in beta is already far more polished and finished than Age of Conan.
Things can change when they open the flood gates. Hell I remember everyone saying how kick ass AOC was while they were in Beta .
Well, FC beta was Tortage if my source is correct. WAR is letting people test the majority of the game, not just the first 20 levels of a single player clone.
BINGO!! We have a winner!
Well, I don't know what monkeys they had testing it, but I would have wondered why they only let you see Tortage.
Regardless of how much fun 1-20 was, it would have raised a redflag for me.
Actually it did with a lot of people, just look back to earlier posts before the game came out. Now granted this was just during the pvp weekend beta and the smaller beta before release. As far as the earlier beta times I couldnt tell you, often wondered myself what the hell they tested since so much was broke, especially the main elements of group play.

At your next family reunion, kick his arse for us.
LOL I like that answer the best.
As far as I know its all on a random basis. I was a long time subscriber to their newsletter and I had the pre-order CE code and I still only got in earlier this month.

Well, first I dont read news DAILY, so it was new to me.
Second, I am not in beta, but as I understood, it seemed like city conquest was the culmination of the RVR battle. Since when is any concern of a poster a trolling, hello?? I mean, hey, I just wrote some concern, and I have an entire list of bashers and flamers on a simple, personal concern?? If THAT is the Warhammer community I know why they make no official forums! *shakes head*
Did this forum degenerate so much that we must call each other fanbois and troller in EVERY single thread now?
Okay I'll put it to you this way. Do you want to have the option of raiding three backwater, Southern, redneck towns with maybe 50 people in them and houses that fall over in any gust more than 30 MPH, or do you want to raid New York City? They're focusing on quality over quantity RIGHT NOW, as they will implement the other cities when they're done. They've put in massive fortresses in place of the cities, so there's still a point to fighting Orc vs. Dwarf or High Elf vs. Dark Elf.
It's not your fault that "you don't read the news daily", but we certainly can not believe you and instead believe that you're trying to stir up unnecessary trouble when we've been through this topic over and over and over again already.
I like the way you put that, nice job! ![]()

After watching this video...I have never trusted an MMO company more. The very end is what got me.
Great clip!! I always said these guys always looked like they were having so much fun it made me want to play their game.
Aside from questing, what do you spend most of your time doing in-game?
