Could I get a key as well? Would like to try the game again.

Thanks.
While I'm glad he has come out and address this issue, and I don't plan on canceling my preorder, I can't help but feel he came off as a complete ass in his tone there. This has largely been my problem with him being out there as a spokesperson for the game instead of them using a trained PR guy. While this level of communication at times is nice his bluntness is a huge turn off.
There have been things when this sort of thing has caused me to not do things for people or to buy certain products. However I could honestly care less about Mark Jacobs as I tend to ignore him, my interest in Warhammer extends beyond WAR now (into reading the novels. Been a fan of D&D this way as well with reading Forgotten Realms and Eberron novels) and it isn't his show anymore now that EA is the one in charge at the end and he can be replaced.
It's to old of a game in the end for me. The game lags insanely for me and there is to much stop and go in terms of graphics lag. It's all leads back to the graphics and the actual client. As much as they try to change it the whole thing needs to be scrapped and completely redone from the ground up.

LOL that guy Mark Jacobs really overreacted. Probably the admin stepped on a sore toe.
I have to agree. The very fact that Mark Jacobs responded the way he did does make me that a sore spot was hit and he went straight into defensive mode.
EA Mythic can release information in any way they wish since it's their game however I am noticing a weird trend. That is the constant talking about different aspects of the game. Yes that's good but really why all the production value when they simply could update the site with text and be done with it.
It is a lot of smoke and mirrors I feel to in the end say very little. Take the crafting videos that were put up a little while ago with Mark Jacob. I was so bored during it. I wanted to hear about the crafting. I honestly could have cared less about the reasoning behind it. Just what could be done and what couldn't be done. Yes or no to recipes. An actual video of the crafting process would have been useful but nothing even close to that. Even then it could have been been stated in a LOT fewer words. So on that front I think one does have an argument with how EA Mythic presents the little information they do put out (by making it seem it's bigger and more important then it really is in the end).

There is nothing bad about being a WoW clone. WoW's success means that "WoW rippoff" can be a very viable design decision for an MMORPG that will bring lots of cash to the company and lots of fun to the players. And WAR is definitely the best contender in the "WoW ripoff" race.
Why can people not get it through their thick heads that WAR is NOT a WoW clone. WoW is not unique by any stretch of the imagination. It is simply very polished but it did nothing other games hadn't already done first. If you want to talk about looks of the two games, first WAR looks tons better. Anyone can see that by looking at videos of the game and all of the lighting, etc aren't even turned on yet. Second Warcraft was inspired by the Warhammer game that predates Warcraft by a full 10 years.
