  • The thing is the OP is kind've right... there is a certain sillyness to running int someone who is hiding in the middle of a raod in broad daylight...
    
    When they announced everyone could stealth I was under the impression it would have limits so rediculous things like that would not occur..
    
    For those of you saying to pour points into perception are missing the point.. no amount of points is going to reveal a stealthed mage waiting for you to get within range to stun and nuke you to death before you even see him.
    
    It is beta and it needs to be addressed

    #2 You are not in closed beta, I am.. the game isn't playable for me in OB it is very smooth in CB
    
    The game would only be unready if they had no content after level 20, THEY DO.. it would also be unready if they had problems that they simply can't fix.. they DONT
    
    Stop smearing your blogs all over the forums to get your name around.. it's getting annoying already.. stop complaining about not being able to make a warrior with the face of a twink this is Age of Conan not Age of Elikils fantasy

    Sorry but you have a major problem, 320mb gfx card? sure it's a 8800gts but 320MB ? You cant expect that to run good at high settings atleast.

    It would be nice to know if the OP actually specified what he calls a HIGH END machine. Btw, the gfx drivers that will be released by ati/nvidia after AoC is release will sure have better support for the game. All drivers usually gets tweaked with the most games out there. Let's hope Funcom fix the problems ppl are having until launch, atleast the big ones everyone seems to be having. Working real good for me, but seems many got bad performance.

    Elondor do not listen to this guy your rig is good enough to play at high settings
    
    Your dual core is what is holding you back, on this version of the build having 1 core on instead of 2 will double your FPS for some people. (like me)

    If your machine is good enough it will run this game no matter what at retail, do not listen to the clueless idiots.. it is not your fault that this game is not running for you it is funcoms fault and they will fix it, most of which has been fixed and is ready for retail.  There is already a more stable build that you people are not playing on so don't worry about fixing your problems until retail if you have any by then

  • I really don't like these list threads, it just reminds me how many people haven't played asheron's call and knowing that if they played it when it came out it would be #1 on their list as well
