two of the things that scare more when it comes to my own species are the lack of insight of it's members to see the clear picture and the blind faith that , for some reason, every one is the "axis mundi".

Let me get to the point:  your purpose has been served.

yes, your - and to a point mine also since i'm in the same boat as you. I was one of those hardcore customers that wanted complex, deep and challenge gamplay. But thank god i'm not blind . that time passed. We  had a purpose : keep the MMORPG, or should i say the MMO pay to play game floating in the starting years. And we did that very well. thats why they exist today.

But it come to a time where "our genre" stop being "our genre",

And for whatever reason,  i don't understand how or why most of the people of my age or video game background don't see the thing as it is: we are not the prime market anymore, they are not thinking in us when making  new games, they are trying to get the masses and the masses dont want complex, deep, challenge gameplay.

we will never get what we want in broad MMO's like wow, warhammer, AOC etc. Any game trying to target a large ,massive audience will not have complex, deep, challenge gameplay, because the moment they offer that, they will stop aiming for the massive audience.

and as a side not: I actually like WAR and WOW , for what they are: well made linear games without ilusions of "grandeur". they work, they are fun, they are linear in their puporse and their purpose is evident from the start. They are also honest (unlike funcom's AOC that tried to be something that it is not).

      WAR (Warhammer Online)
    • There needs to be battlegroup server like that other game.
    • i'm on a populated EU server. Sometimes I even have a queue to join the server were I mostly play.  And for your info, I actually made 3 chars to different servers, from core to open, and faced the same problem, over and over. there is no problem in finding groups to PQ to add to the situation that is not a population problem.

And to even make things worse I can say that between 00:00 and 9:00 GMT  chances of  actually getting inside a single scenario are 1/10.

15 minutes waiting time? talk more about 60 , sometimes up to 90.

What is your problem? Apart not being very bright ? Or there is somekind of personal satisfaction in knowing that thousands of us pass a lot of time waiting for the message to join to pop up?

Every time I queue for a scenario takes like 45 to 90 minutes to get in. On sunday I tried , in theory, to increase my RR, in a total of 8 hours playing, got in 4 scenarios ???!!!!, that normally last about 10 to 15 minutes each. And no, leveling was not an option since i was dangerously close of leaving tier 2 and wanted to increase RR before that, and RvR areas were not really that active also.

a multi server queue system, like they did in wow would cut the waiting time, what is a win win situation for players, without detracting anything from WAR style/concept. It is a good, valid, legit, constructive solution, unlike your fiery comment that add nothing to the situation apart revealing some strange personal issues .

    • Barnett "WAR is a better game at launch then WoW."
    • ofc.in fact i think we are all tired of games launching worst than wow. it is like going backwards.

tho the comparison has to be made between war and wow 2008 (what means how good or bad wotlk launches)

i still stand by what i said, one is not really better than the other, they just aim at different things. having said that the noveltry factor of warhammer has weight.

      WAR (Warhammer Online)
    • Oh no! My friends are going order!
    • if you have your own prefferences in terms of classes, then the correct answer is: play the classes you like.

enjoyment comes as much from playing with friends as it comes from self realization. Still your friends might not be there always for you to play with , but in a way everytime you log, you log in the character you chosed.
