    15.2 What part of the Conan lore is the game based on?
    We're basing the game primarily on the original works of Robert E. Howard, but we're also drawing upon over seventy years of books and comics. The game itself plays out shortly after the events that are described in the story “Hour of the Dragon”, which is considered to be one of Howards’ finest novels. In this world, filled with cruel gods, mythical creatures, lost civilizations and a struggling human race, the mighty barbarian has finally seized the throne as king of Aquilonia.

    Oh thanks, I forgot that I read that some months ago. Then i need to find that novel and some before that time frame to get a grip on when the game is played out.

• • My one dread/hope for AoC

  • Hopefully they have some actions in mind when it comes to fighting third-party-programs and gold-selling.

    Any ideas here how you actully can fight that on a good level? For the cheating part I recon good communications with the community and key bans would be good. But the gold selling is a hard one.

  • Because almost all players going in to this game are players that can handle a death or two and most know that AoC is focused around pvp with pve material included. I don't find it strange at all that it won't have a rp - pve server in the beggining. For me however I dont care, I plan to play on the rp - pvp!
