• • What is the point of EA if you close the game on primetime???

  • I tell you what I think is funny, That on other games like WoW, etc they do maintenance at night for NA players, but it leave others out in the cold when its theyre daytime play. When they BITCH and WHINE the NA players tell them to get over it and quit QQing etc etc etc. Now Its the NA players that are getting it shut down in the daytime, What are we doing? lol just plain Irony. Beside that lets remember being EA players, WE are the Guinea Pigs to get the server right. And for all that think this suck you should have been in the Vanguard RELEASE! This is Cake.

     

    And at least Funcom is keeping us up to date on what is going on, unlike some MMO companies... COUGH COUGH SOE COUGH COUGH BLIZ COUGH.

  • Yeah, I am like the OP, I like to set down and think of New MMO's that could be made and how I would make them. I had a whole Idea for Stargate (then about 2 years later Bam its being made, THAT WAS COOL). I have thought of a Harry Potter, My Idea was kind of like this:

    You start by pick gender of course, then as far as races go there would be Human, half gaint, half vella (or how ever it is spelled) and maybe one or 2 others. Then you custom your toon's look, then you move to the sorting hat, and it would be in the great hall with students and all, and there you piick your house (this would start the stat changes, each class has its own + and - to its stat). from there you get some very basic quest to get you use to the school. Then you have to choose your classes, and through your classes you are able to customize your class. But I would want it to be more of a basic skill basic game then lvl grind (Would have to work out more detials) As you get better in each class that is able to be take that year, you can move to the next year and pick more classes etc. And between classes and training you can do side quest in the forest, in hogs mead when you get to the right year etc. Then you would have to then passes the Newts, and OWLS. And for a travel you would have to pass the broom flying course and the apperision class. After you leave School thats when you start to really get to use your skills, And have it where you can open up shops to sell crafted items (from candy that increase's stats to gag items like Goerge and Fred, etc). Have a house, do qyest to work for Greengots or The MoM departments. And have live advents going, like He who should nto be named attacking (and for this it would be PVP, and at some point in and outside of school you can make the choice which side you want to be on, or even start your own thing). Guilds would be like the clubs and others that are in the books and movies, it starts out with a club like DA's after gettng enough members and doing meeting and club quest you move up to a Social club repeat, move up until you get to the lvl of the Order of the Phoenix or He that should not be named's group.

    But this are just some of my thoughts I have came up with, I have alot more just havent posted them or this would be a 100 page post.
