Anyone notice how all of these detailed offerings from this guy or that guy about visiting the Adventurine office are all so descriptive about their lives and how they got to the offices and how they didn't believe in Tasos when they first called him etc etc ??
Just a question - Is someone trying overly hard to make these um 'visit to mighty Adventurine' write-ups seem real and authentic?
Just wondering, because the Lords of Death and this one seemed like they were written from the same exact guy and in reading both of them, I was thinking "WoW, this guy is freaking FULL OF SHIT!"
But okay. Another nobody writes up some BS about visiting their offices and offers no concrete evidence except a couple of photos of the Adventurine sign outside the door. Oh boy, that makes me want to sign up for two years right now for this stupid game at $25 US per month. Hmm, will you take my credit card for $600 right now for 2 years Adventurine?? I'm so excited about all this that I just need to go take a big dump right now!

So how potential buyers perceive a game coming out soon is worthless information? That makes a lot of sense. ![]()
I have looked but could not find what engine they are using for the game.
And I admit that I like the style better of American mmo games compared to the Chinese/Korean ones like Lineage II. I dont know why, their style just doesn't appeal to me at all.
The videos and screenshots for Darkfall do look good I think but I would base my decision much more on how smooth and bug free the actual game play turns out
I really am interested in what Darkfall offers and in a non-linear sandbox game. I love RPGs and I also love being able to play and compete online as well. I always hated the Final Fantasy type of RPGs because they were way too narrow and linear. I loved Ultima Online and the freedom it presented. I also liked Asheron's Call and its PvP server, darkworld I think it was called.
But my question is there seems to be a lot of people here slamming Darkfall and calling it phony and vaporware and stuff. May I ask why so much heat is being placed on this game?
Thanx
