It will probably be better in a few years when it has more time to add content and meaninful PVP. So far the OB has been a disaster and you would think that Mythic would know about MMO's since this is not their first one.
For now I will stay with AOC as it is a much more stable and populated game.
WTF?!?!?!? is this a joke!?
Dude.. AOC doens't even run on anything over 2 years old. Has about 200k subs as we speak, and has the most meaningless PVP I ever seen.
Anyways.. back to reality.. .. what were we talking about again?
Not to get more off topic on this post but you have absolutely no idea how many subs that AoC has. Did you just make this number off the top of your head? Or are you using one of those funny foolproof methods of counting players during prime time? Anyway try to avoid posting things that may not be fact as fact.
Ok back on topic. I currently play Lotro as well and i am still on the fence about WAR. I am definetly going to give it a try and if i like it i guess i will have to subscribe to 2 games for awhile. I think it has a ton of potential and i hope it does very well.
Have Fun,

hey,
Conan may be good it may be bad, but i really don't understand the need of this post. Couldn't you have just responded to one of the other 150 post just like this. There are lots of negative posts , just jump in on one of those instead of creating a new thread rehashing the same old same old. It has all been said and it has all been done. Either play the game or move on to another game. This is getting real tired,
thanks Cen
Hey,
This is a ridiculous thread. You contacted a GM in game just to be rude and argumentative? I agree with the previous poster that all you accomplished is wasting this GM's time when he/she actually could have been helping somebody. I also agree with another previous poster that you should cancel your account as it sounds that you are not happy with the game and it is causing you to look for trouble. Find something you enjoy instead of trying to make something you are unhappy with miserable for everybody else.

Hey all,
It doesn't have anything to do with being an AoC "fanboy": It is just the nature of these forums. WAR could be the greatest game to ever hit the market but it doesnt matter. The community here is horrible and there will always be hordes of people bashing the game and just trying to start trouble. Anybody who reads these forums to find out if they should buy a game or not is just plain crazy.
There is very little honesty around here and most of the posts you see bashing WAR or any other game are probably from people that still play or have never played. The best way to decide, and i know not everybody has an endless supply of money, is to get the game and to play yourself.
Thanks and have fun,
Cen
Hey all,
I am still on the fence about Warhammer. It does look like a good game and there is a lot of positive things on the boards here. I just wanted to comment on one thing that is mention several times in this thread and many others. There are a lot of compalints that all the MMO's that have been released in recent times are all pure trash. I would agree with this for the most part. But I think that Lord of the Rings online was definetly an exception to this. Even if you didnt like the gameplay or the graphics or it just wasnt your cup of tea, Turbine has done an outstanding job with this title.
There are a lot of people on these boards that are very quick to criticize, but you will rarely see anybody give credit where credit is due. Lotro, in my opinion , probably had one of the best launches ever, and up until the most recent book has been almost perfection as far as performance and content is concerned. Now dont get me wrong everybody has different tastes and i can see why a lot of people do not like it, but i am just talking about how the game was hyped and how it was delivered. Warhammer will hopefully be just as amazing. We need more games that follow this suit. So far it sounds like this may be the case. I really like seeing a lot more of the positive comments around here for once rather than all the anger and dissapointment.
Hope you are having fun,
Cen
