    Ok so im coming to Metin 2 for the day and see if its any good. 

    Ok I already have an issue as far as this conversation is progressing.

    We can sit there and Mindlessly PK after 20 but if someone dies after a metin KILLED that person, I really dont see the issue with another person finishing it off. Theres really no point in calling KSing unless the person is still alive and finishing the job.

    If the GMs watch players and tell them they cant do that becuase there accounts will be suspended, than those GMs need to come up with a fair percentage drop rate of these monsters. Why the hell are other players able to loot if the player before them did most the work. GMs of this game need to come up with a patch, not threatening other players of Metin 2.

    See players can't loot, and GMs can stop herassing players.  I don't mean to sound like an ass but things like this bother me. GM or not you should fix the problems not create more, thats how you lose players, I myself am a GM for an MMO and these guys should know better.  But enough with the crap. I hope this game is good, im downloading it now.

  • Yea my buddy was having some major problems as well. I made 3 accounts just for the hell of it and it worked for me. It took him like 7 tries, you need to keep going with it becuase they are having issues with there key generator that gives the access. I hope it doesnt take you that many times.   I hope you can register before the next CB, this game is really fun and addicting.

  • Ok man, if you are running vistas, make sure its running in admin mode.  It will go through the process of the install wizzard thing and than you just hit remove all files.  If none of this works your going to need to do this the manual way.

    Click, Start than my computer, click the HD drive which is normaly Drive C.  Go to Program files and you will see rohan and there downloader in too seperate folders, I dont know why but thats how they have it set up. You need to delete the NIFFY folder first, because if you try to delete Rohan first it will give you the unable to remove error because its being used by another program. So uninstall the niffy first and than do rohan.  THIS SHOULD work. 

    But one question-  Why are you getting rid of it since the next Closed beta is just around the corner.  TOWNSHIP battles are gonna be constant to see if the server can handle the traffic. 

    Fallow this step with xp as well.

    The "quests" are just mindnumbingly boring, it consists of an NPC dailog (which could say anything, then go kill X of this)...     LOL absolutely agreed. koreans dont know what real mmo is . They're just like, as long as having "something" to do, no matter how stupid it might be (endless farming/grind etc.), and they are satisfied.

    reason that there are quite a few such mmos out their is cuz the asian market are generally poor and less educated. these games are just made for them, free and mindless. then some rich people who enjoy being superior in a crowded mmo would come throw in some $$, which keeps the game running for free.

    now i'm really laughing cuz people who spend years playing such games will eventually become idiots who cant do anything but grind in an mmo. Those poor asian countries under the korean infection might even have their economy pushed back due to the large amount of young people "working" for free mmos ... LOL

    The way their games are designed is to suit asian tastes. This unfortunately is different to the easily bored people with low attention spans in the west.

    The way their games are designed is that the harder you work the more you are rewarded. Ive played many mmorpgs starting back from ultima online and through many korean mmo's. Yes they all seem to be the same generic foundation, but hey, theres MILLIONS of people playing them around the world.

    The basic design of the game is cheap to run and doesnt require that much bandwith so maintaining them isnt that expensive. Maybe thats why its free. Cant blame a company for trying to earn a profit either and if theres people out there willing to spend money, why the hell not. And no people spending money wont overpower those who spend time and effort getting high lvl items and characters.

    Even western MMO's such as WOW, COH, AO etc all have grinding and quest leveling. Honestly, do you even know wtf your talking about? probably just a racist little kid that just want to bad mouth koreans (and no im not korean either)

    Before you even think about trying to quote me wrong. Ive been working in the games industry for many years. I know how things work behind the scenes I assume you dont have a clue in hell.

    Kensai-zen you are spot on man. msz010 watch what you post and stop being a jerk. Korea is considered to be thee LEADING region for gaming to date. Do you realize that just a small fraction of there gaming developers have more experience than 90 percent of our developers do. So obviously there not idiots, so please stop posting crap you have no clue about. I too have been in the business for a few years myself and I too know what im talking about. So please before you start bashing on koreans, them like most other asian regions they too study the one thing they want to do for the rest of there life and excel beyond yours nor my comprehension, it be sports, art, industrial, anything they want. They are absolutely brilliant when it comes to game designs, there mmos see more than 2 million people on the beginning launch dates and there populations continue to rise in the mmo genre.SO please stop being an idiot and grow up.

     

    Now cabal, yea I was very bored with it, in fact I couldn't stand playin it but the music was good. I too had lag issues, and I have 4 gigs of ram with a 2.8 ghz P4. So go figure, I know the game gets better but I wasn't willing to stick with it. Yes the game is grossly over hyped by those that like it, but hey to some people this is the best game ever but not my cup of tea, but I will not bash anyone for there likes or dislikes.

  • Yeppers, I agree with you man.  I really wish I could have started this back in the day. It would have been a hell of alot better to start with this than when I started with wow. WOW sucks in comparison in my honest opinion. I have both and I did love wow but this game has more of the seriouse MMO enthusiasts to heart.
