    how did this go down on independence day? Well perhaps because it's elitism towards other nations? Also, the thread is of 2nd of july, not the the 4th.

    Now Enigma, I respect you, but if I have to be honnest then you have certainly helped certain threads go to the crapper with unnecessary comments.

    About this topic, while the vast majority of members on this forum are American (well aside from the chinese goldsellers anyway), there are a great number of people who are not from the US and do not appreciate American Elitism, because that is what it is.

    I see people continue to point towards the 4th of July. nobody in this thread, that includes me, has anything against the 4th of July, my problem is with the pointless comparisson and downgrading of other nations, not with 4th of july.

    
     

    Strangely enough, for once I agree with Gameloading despite most of his posts usually pissing me off. He may of gone about it the wrong way with his first post, which can be considered trollish, but he's explained himself here and I agree with him.

    Like all important national holidays in any country, they are a day to celebrate eachother and your country.

    The OP's stories came off haughty and arrogant, I realise the type of message he was trying to relay but it looked like a bash France thread, fuck Europe thread. Your stories are nice stories about patriotism, but you can make nice stories without bashing something else.

    Oh and btw heres a not so nice story:

    When Saddam Hussein gased tens of thousands of kurds in retaliation for their uprising after America promised to help them and than pulled out... you could have heard a pin drop...

  • I think this game will be a breath of fresh air if it does away with rediculous grinding and hardcore raids and the inevitable bullshit such as DKP that comes with it.

    Sorry, been there done that. If doing away with such things turns it into a 'game' (god forbid!) than so be it.
