  • This must be my first MMO that eat up 25GB of my computer and still close to Beta. =)

    Sorry... but I can't understand why this game need so much space. It's not that special... voice sound? Nipples and Blood? Thats about it... or is this game huge like hell? Sure graphics are great, but so are other games... still they are not 25GB... I don't get it... hmmm.

     Dont get me wrong,AoC in it's curent state is in fact very bad but not because of the endless/pointless/unbacked up by facts spam posts but because of the bugs and extreme lack of content and no priority whatsoever.

     Exemple instead of fixing the damn group bug (one of the main reason I and many have canceled sub) that has being in since EA hasnt being fix yet they bother adding new dances and a ding sound,I find it hilarious to say the least,here have some pretty sounds and dances and forget all about the guilds that raid exploited to gear up and now you are getting punished for their mistakes while they arent by adding 7 day reset timers on tier 1 raid dungeon.

    
     

    Today a lot of people have great computers, so I don't think that is the problem here.

    I do think the hype and all the talk from Funcom is the problem.

    And I can understand that people are angry. Think about it, if you pay cash for a Red Ferrari and you get an old Volvo 240. Would you still be happy after that? =)

    But yes, a better graphic card will sure make the game much better and it will make you forget about the bugs etc.

  • 1.) I would work on a new start area for ALL classes. Yes remove what they have today and start over. Why? The first thing you do when you enter a new game must be fun and make you go "wow"! And not "oh it's that beach again.... save the girl... yay"...

    My start area would be inside the Pub and the first thing you must do is fight your way out if you are Barb for example. And for the Assassin I would make it something like Assassins Creed, start on top of the town roofs and get away from soldiers. And so on. A special place for all the classes to make the player feel that he is something in the game.

    2.) I would follow suggestion 1 and keep the story to classes a little bit more in the game. Up to level 15. Then at level 16 I would open the door to the big world like normal MMO's. Give the player the freedom to go where he/she wanna go. And ofc there will be quests later in the game for your class etc.

    3.) My version of AoC is +18 and it's weak. I would make it more +18. And yes I would copy things from GTA games. I would add "drunk effect", if the player drink too much then get drunk. It's fun. I would also add "pick up a whore", again just for fun. Games are to enjoy right? I would also make the females show more skin. Why? It's a Conan game and not LOTRO, so the females show a lot of skin. It's that simple.

    Thats how I think it would be better hehe.

    Yes, there is a lot of things missing in Age of Conan, but the Mature content is there, just search for it.
