So your biggest argument against this particular roll playing game is that they don't have mana?
It's a fantasy world - in this case the source of magic isn't mana or a personal reserve of magical energy it's a series of magical runes instead. This isn't an unheard of concept in fantasy it just seems to skew your personal view of what a fantasy realm should be.
Towers? What have they got to do with anything? Are they are major pre-requisit of a fantasy land or just a predominent feature of Tolkiens middle earth, where there are in fact only two towers any way.
Your arguments really ought to be better made.
This game hasn't fallen apart that's just your opinion of it - which I suspect is skewed because you don't like the changes in the PVP system!
It is still the best 2d isometric MMORPG available and if you want to you can play it for free forever.
