Credit card company has it in dispute and is issuing me a credit. Obviously, all Funcom is trying to do is bilk 14.99 out of customers who owe them nothing.
Yes I agree they shouldn't have charged you, but it's probably down to incompetent accounting database management rather than deliberate conspiracy.
This sort of stuff happens in the real world all the time, which is why as a general principle you should always delete your credit card details when you cancel a service for anything, be it MMOs, Cable, DVD Rental etc, etc, etc.
Not sure how the law works in the US, but in the UK you just report it to your credit card company & they refund it straight away. The company who made the disputed charge then have to justify why they did it if they want the money back. I did this recently over a false 'Travel Company Charge' I noticed on my credit card bill & it took no time at all.
Of course its an deliberate conspiracy. Funcom is a bunch of scammers. If you know your game is in alpha beta and youre selling it as a finished game then your a thief.
Theyre not any better then the common thief stealing your silverware while your asleep. There behaviour towards there customers is just outrageuos.

As an alpha and beta tester for the game, blaming us would be ridiclous.
We can only find the bugs, make the suggestions and hope they are fixed. They werent fixed, we have no control over that, and we never have control over things like that in any beta test. They made the choice, between a finished client and meeting their deadline and they chose their deadline.
They fucked up, just like the devs did in vanguard.
I applaud people like you, the ones that actually want to test a game and make it better. unfortunatly I wonder how many of the total testers allowing to the game actually did this.
I never played AoC beta but I knew several people in my TF2 clan that did and they just played it, they never tested anything but where enjoying the fact that they were playing it. I don't believe this was an isolated incedent, I reckon several hundered were doing the same.
What I'm wondering is maybe if there was a combind effort where all testers actually tested then maybe things would be different.
I do beta test games, last one I did was Everquest 2. They has thier fair share of muppets too.
Blaming beta testers was giving me the best laugh of today, thank you, i needed it.
Blame Funcom and blame the investors. There you have the scumbags. The ones that took the final decision publishing this piece of crap game before it was ready for it. There you have the scammers.

Well two option here either the mod didnt have a decent mastery of english ( most of the gms / mods seem to have only basic notions of english) or that post had a touch of rant in it. The mod are getting very tired of players telling them how to do their jobs. What teh point of repostign what has been posted a few thousand times before?
Only reason for this Nazi censorship going on is that Funcom dont accept negative replies or threads about there game.
It might have a negative impact on Funcom economics since people learn how bad a game Age of Conan really is. Thats the only reason.

You sure like to toss around the word troll, dont you? Why dont you lighten up with that, you would be taken more seriously.
At 0:55 I see 5 figures in the distance. Oh boy. Considering that Aventurine claims to have some of the best AI in the biz, it is REASONABLE to expect some actual footage of this awesome AI in action. OK?
You are trolls so why not point it out? Dont try to act like someting you arent. Mobs in a ingame video is a awsome find. Thats one of the features you trolls been working on and now we all know theyre in. They were in already 2006.=)

Who cares? You think some monsters standing around with simple path finding is something special?
It sure is.
It adds one more missing feature to the game. Its even on the ingame video. Make me all fluffy inside. It aint the best of days for the poor trolls.=)
