  • The game is fine, until lvl 60 you lvl up easily doing quests, 60-69 is the real pain tho...i believe they don't want people hitting lvl 69 before they can release new content. The only pure grind lvls would be...44-46 and 61-69 so is not that bad, btw I'm lvl 50 and quitted for a while waiting for new content and the new class, but the game is great.

  • Requiem FTW!  I don't know what the cash shop in requiem will look like...but Rohan one simply unbalances the game by A LOT, plus there is already a major issue with botting in Rohan. The grind in requiem currently seems very nice, since the level cap is not "very high" compared to Rohan plus you level faster in Requiem and the grind is less painful plus the dungeons are way better in requiem.

    I've played Rohan jp and tried Rohan inter just to check out the version and uninstalled the game within 3 days. Requiem seems by far way better, but it lacks high content tho it will get better with the time.

    Requiem for the high end in this version is unknown atm, just because the OB didn't have the whole content and nobody knows what the release will have atm, but the asian version doesn't look bad at all...from my point of view it will be the best F2P this year as long as you like this kind of mmorpg.

    Edit : there is a nice upgrading system, from my point of view less painfull to do than Rohan one, weapon/armor has slots and you can make the weapons glow.

    About bosses...they are not soloable in Requiem, at least the true bosses not just nightmare mobs :P and there are raids which means you need a good amount of people to get down a boss.

    Item grades...you have: Etc, Ordinary, Supernus, Rare and Unique if im not wrong. There are sets aswell.

    So far i like Requiem and it looks promising at least to play it while waiting for some P2P release.

  • Actually any F2P gets bored after a couple of months, weeks or even days/hours...so if requiem can hold my attention for a couple of months having some fun...it would be really nice. Maybe i'm waiting too much but it's the only F2P i currently like since there is not anything else worth to download.

    I just hope they make a good release and not just a clone of the OB...

  • Still, with that 25% drop in experience leveling will be "fast" compared to the rest of F2P games, there are many 50+ and 55+ at the moment in the open beta when not even 1 month has passed since it oppened, so 25% drop in exp won't really be a matter. Don't forget that yes...they will drop the exp a 25%, but premium gives 50%...so premium users will gain about the same exp as you get now during the OB, they simply recover that 25% lost.

    About the region chat...yes it sucks for finding a group, but if you are in a guild and knowing some people you couldn't care less about it. And no, you don't need group for first job change quest, people simply use pots. I'm sure they removed the region chat from free users because of the real spamming, it was painful and most of the time people just disabled it, so maybe give thanks to the noobs who fucked up that channel during the OB. Maybe there will be something to find group for free users or a way to shout in region channel such as a consumable or paying lant for example. If you don't get premium or basic you can even get a friend who has it to shout for you.

    At least the region channel doesn't matter to me, plus if they make the released version much better compared to the OB (more content and such) i wouldn't mind paying a Basic or Premium service.

    In every F2P people who spend more money is the one with the most advantage, but if requiem doesn't fuck it with the cash shop it will be an awsome game, as premium service it's simply great as it is now.

    Edit to say that i've just read that general chat is going to have more range so people can look for party in the same area without the need of using region chat

  • Well, i don't know whats so bad to make free user accounts unplayable, premium account gains 50% more exp, 30%  more drops, 1 death penalty instead of 4 and being able to use region chat...so what? They will lvl faster but what did you hope? and the drops are for everyone...more drops...more items for sale, cheaper stuff.

    I don't know what there will be in the item mall but...people who use to buy from it  would rather spend 15$ or 8$ for basic on a montly bonus other than 5$ for silly scrolls that increase ur exp for a few of hours.

    People playing for free will lvl almost as fast as in the OB and getting the same drops and even lant drop will be better, so i don't get your complains since you have been playing almost as a free user until now...all because free users won't use region chat? god bless them! it was spamming chat for noobs.

    So from my point of view i think premium and basic service is awsome.

    Another thing is that they won't keep the game as it is now, it would be retarded and there will be a surprise in the released version, not everything will be perfect and polished but it will be by far better fixed than currently is. A new race is comming, not by the release date but it will be there soon. I might be wrong but they wont just release the game as it is now, that they didn't release new content for the OB doesn't mean they don't have it for the release. 

    I'm gonna give it a chance before flame, as no one knows how the released version will be.

    Btw it's a F2P game, but maybe you have never seen a premium service before.
