Since I have finally heard some good stuff about AoC, maybe it wont be the failure I expected it to be.
Still, I cant help but wonder: theres so many MMOs coming soon, why is everybody talking about AoC ?!?
I'm sorry of all MMOs I have only played Lineage 2 and Vanguard. I strongly doubt L2 stands the smallest chance in the world to end up on your "alife" list
even if it had some strength, especially you where so dependent on the help of others.
So what I know about UO and the rest is only what others told me.
Hmm, so the list of "alife" MMOs is, according to you:
UO
EQ
SWG pre-NGE
Sorry, but I know a common feature of these: they are all OLD.
Except maybe this "Saga" title that I never have heard of before.
Is it possible that its mainly you, not these games ? Or can you specify more clearly what the advantage of the "alife" titles are, in comparison to the "only a game" ones ?
If you would own a game company and would be asked of your developers what they have to do to make an "alife" game, what would you tell them ?

The fix? add durability, or make things Bind when equip.
But that would make me stop playing the game. I definitely do NOT want to work on getting the best armor in the game AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN !
Just because it "fixes economy".

FFXI is said to have THE BEST crafting system.
I heard from someone who crafted in FFXI and he said it was utterly pointless.
To sell his items, he would have to sell them at 1/5 of material price or something.
Are you still playing (or subscribed to) your first MMO?
