  • To answer the topic title: Because most brilliant, old MMOs have been ruined by recant patches, hacks, or a player-base which is too small. Some even a mixture of the lot.

    "lol, brb, kk" etc, fine. But shortening down every single damn word pisses me off to the max. Not sure, but lately, as in the past couple years I havn't seen many people at all using "1337". It's a minority nowadays.

    Only time a little bit might leak out, is if I'm doing something (say, killing a boss), and need to answer someone quick, they might get a quick "y 1sec".

  • I play Rohan, taking a short break right now though.

    The cuff system costs money so players don't abuse it. When you catch a bot, you get your 10k (which takes under 1min to make) back.

     

    Bots are too smart for the cuff system now anyway. You have to tell a GM if you want to get rid of them, through the Live Support on the website. They teleport streight to you and ban the bots streight away. Don't worry about it.

    Nothing to do but grind - Okay, you've played for, maybe a day or two, because thats definately not true. (No one can actually give a real rating for this unless they palyed the asian servers anyways.)

    Can't grind with a PvP build - Woah woah WOAH! Every build in this game is suitable for both grinding AND PvP. A tank in this game is good in PvP, and obviously PvE for tanking for example.

     

    Sorry, but you have no idea what you're yapping about.

  • I highly reccomend you try Rohan. It's a 'micro payments' game with all of what you mentioned and loads more.  It can be compared to pretty much all p2p games.

    It is possible in Rohan to use the ItemShop without spending any real world cash if you don't want, because of the Trade Center feature. I suggest you wait untill Open Beta (27th may) and take a look at the official site and forum.
