Korean games typically have beautiful graphics (such as Guild Wars)
Their coding is typically horrible for the western mindset though. Things like click to move, invisible walls hemming you into certain paths, lots of grinding to level, things like that.
Koreans like that with their beautiful graphics...western society doesn't so much.
We'll take a little hit in the graphics department to get a game with better play to it. I.E. more interactive environments, more free exploring, better combat (i.e. no point to click garbage.)
Yep.
I've yet to play a Korean MMO that is fun because of these qualities.
There's a reason why most all of the Korean MMOs are FTP: no one would otherwise pay for such trite garbage.
Around 2 millions of people in the world are paying monthly to play the Lineage franchise, which is Korean, and which is coming from the same company as this game.
L2 peaked at 150k players in NA/EU which is quite decent comparing it to titles like Ultima Online or even Dark Age of Camelot. The game is still going after 5 years of its release with expansions and new content every 6 months.
Your argument is useless in this forum.
Omg you have put 1600+ hours into Hello Kitty online STFU...you will play anything..
Aion will probably be decent War will probably be decent....wait until the game comes out and stop trying to be the Aion Fanboy or Girl of the year...we get it..you think Aion will ROCK OMG WTF....
but seriously, you are making everything you say pointless because its very easy to see you want Aion virtual cock.
What is your favorite fantasy character type?
