On May 8th, Conan Exiles will launch on PC, PS4, and XBOX One. That’s right, something that went into Early Access on Steam is coming out of Early Access and actually launching just about a year later. Praise be to Crom! And when it comes, Conan Exiles is coming with a ton of new content, improvements, freeform climbing, new progression systems, a brand new combat system, new biomes, new dungeons, the new purge system.
Reign of Guilds is an upcoming first-person MMORPG where players themselves are the story from their first minutes in the game. It incorporates many of the features hardcore MMORPG players have found lacking in the current MMO generation. So what is Reign of Guilds? Read on to find out.
Coming from out of the blue is the new early access game PixARK. A game that at first glance seems like an odd love child of Minecraft, Trove and ARK. But does it work?
Sky Noon is something else. Imagine an alternate western-themed world where all water has vanished, so the people take to the sky to farm moisture from the clouds. Two rival factions fight over the floating landmass/dirigibles, but instead of bullets in your six-shooter, you’ll use a variety of air-powered weapons to try and knock the opposing team off the islands and into oblivion. That’s Sky Noon, and it’s basically a western-themed FPS version of Super Smash Bros.
We recently had the opportunity to sit down with Heroic Games CEO Casey McGeever for a tour of Ship of Heroes. Ship of Heroes is one of several MMO projects that popped up to try and fill the void left by NCSoft’s shutdown of City of Heroes back in 2012. As someone still pining for a new superhero MMO to call home, I was eager to learn more about what the team was working on.
It doesn’t sound like a cross between simulation games and Banner Saga-styled strategy RPGs would go over well, but in CCCP’s Dead in Vinland, that’s exactly the case. Your family is driven from their viking homestead by war and invaders only to have your ship sink and find yourselves washed up on a hostile island. It’s a complex, strategic, and heartfelt story of a family and a people’s will to survive.

Vermintide takes place in the Warhammer universe. For those unfamiliar, it is a dark place full of death and disease. Plague rats and their larger cousins the Skaven rule the sewers of the human cities killing anything that goes down there. Vermintide 2 takes you out of the sewers and sometimes into the wildlands around the city. You have choices of up to fifteen heroes in this co-op fighter.
