Pokemon Go players have been clamoring for Mewtwo since the beginning of the game. The wait is almost over as Mewtwo has made his debut during the Yokohama Pokemon Go stadium event held over the weekend. In the coming weeks, players around the world will also have the opportunity to battle and hopefully capture the iconic Pokemon.
Mewtwo will show up during Exclusive Raid Battles that appear from time to time at Gyms. Players will need to be invited to take part. To do so, players will need to have defeated a Raid Boss at the gym where the event will take place. Invitations will include the time and place where the Exclusive Raid Battle will occur.
Mewtwo is the first Pokémon that Trainers will be able to face in Exclusive Raid Battles, but other powerful Pokémon may also start to hatch from the Raid Eggs found at Exclusive Raid Battles over the next several weeks. Make sure you’re prepared to battle Mewtwo by powering up your Pokémon and battling in raids at Gyms near you!
