Flying Lab Software and their game Pirates of the Burning Sea took part in PXDLAN 8. Community Manager Troy Hewitt released a summary on their site.
|As you all know, Theresa, Squidd and I recently attended the annual PDXLAN to show off the latest and greatest that Pirates of the Burning Sea had to offer. It started out fun enough, with us loading all our demo gear into the Squidd-Mobile, and heading out for a road trip! The drive itself was only three hours, but we had so much fun it felt more like… well, six hours. Actually, I kid- we had a total blast.
The real fun began when we arrived. The event was held at the Airport Holiday Inn Convention Center. Imagine thousands of square feet of row after row of computers. The PDXLAN had a killer spot for us, just inside the venue, directly in front of the entrance. The PDXLAN support staff was incredible, helping us with everything from banner placement to loaning us any necessary equipment to get our booth in order. We even had a web-camera showing off the activity at our booth- how cool is that?
