Ok, it's still not as crowded as in beta, be tha game is 2x bigger now, and just wait for Module 9. It arrives probably very soon now, and has so many improvements for new / old players alike, that I think DDO will get it's golden age starting this year.

I play in DDO EU, but pre-release notes for Module 9 are on ddo.com (US). Check out their new website, it's clear that Turbine invests in DDO like never before.
