yeah... and I am really willing to pay for a game, then pay monthly for the game I paid for, just to see that from people that want me to pay more. Suuuuure. Did developers forget what the monthly cost was actually about?!! its to pay for control over stuff exactly like this.

Takes me 6 seconds to block the new ones when i get in game.   If I'm still on when another pops up, takes me 2 seconds to block the new one.

While I will certainly agree that we should not have to do this just to have spam-free chat, it's certainly not difficult to put it out of sight.  I absolutely understand the frustration - especially when they tell into me with it (when i forget to go /anon). 

This isn't a response to any of you above me there, just a statement in general.

It's annoying, it needs to be fixed.. But it's not game breaking.

dosn't take long to right click on a name and chat and select block...  looks like those are the same 2 people spamming also....

Seeing how they bypass all security, chat limitations, naming limitations... just says everything about what a total joke the Aion client really is.

Your right, right click + block is an easy short term fix.   I snapped the shot just after I entered the world with a fresh alt.  Can you Imagine how first time players feel? ick.

First of all, it doesn't take a moron to see that this guy has his chat box resized to fit the entire screen.  If it were a normal chatbox size in the corner, you wouldn't notice it so much.  Secondly, right clicking and choosing 'block' isn't hard to do.  Third and lastly, almost every single MMO has spammers that do exactly this.  So how can anyone say it's the fault of the client?  Sorry, only ignorant trolls would say that.

I don't even play the game, I at least have the intelligence to take in all factors, process them, and them come out with a reasonably conclusion.  Apparently most can't do that.

im glad i left that game. granted blocking works, its only a short term fix til the next batch of assmaggots come in and shout out their crap to general chat. quite a shame really, i was forced to go anon, so was hard after a while to get a proper group, as well as the occasional /trade message for something I wanted to sell fast. its like 2 games in one, you got the main game, and the second mini game of how many bots can u /ignore or /block. Not to mention NCsoft made it a pain in the ass to report any gold farmers, or botters. where ur forced to exit the game go log onto the website, write a petition, email it, and then hopefully if ur lucky get a response in 24 hours. all the while what i can only consider human garbage and waste of life goes botting ruining a otherwise potentially fun game, including ruining the economy, which has already started its down hill spiral into oblivion of overpriced gear.

@DAS1337 If you do not play the game then you are out of touch with what goes on within it.
