nice screen
Wed May 18 2011 12:04PM ReportAgreed, its a nice screen. EQ2 looks though I'm currently in the trenches with Rift lol.
Wed May 18 2011 1:44PM ReportIm waiting to come back with the freeport revamp.
Wed May 18 2011 3:52PM Reportwhen the hell are they going to fix their aging engine? I love the game but refuse to have it look like 2005 graphics just to be able to run it above 30fps in outdoor areas.
Wed May 18 2011 4:07PM Report@BabyJesus, just because you can run WoW & 60 or more frames doesn't mean that EQ2 has an "aging" engine. It means YOUR computer is far too old for modern games.
I myself have a $1200 computer that I built myself 3years ago, and it runs Eq2 on "maximum" graphics with 83 FPS in outdoor areas (that's WITH grass, WITH grass animations, WITH shadows....EVERYTHING on maximum).
You need to invest into learning how to put together your own PC, and stop shelling out money to horrible gaming PC companies like Dell, AlienWare, etc.
Take responsibility for your gaming, or give up the PC and go with the "easy" route and get an xbox360.
