let it go... LOTRO is dead and buried. they saw it coming long time ago when they implemented the lotro store just to make some money and cover all those put into the game making.

Group system is down, crafting system is so time consuming that is makes you kill the one that came up with it, auction house is only for premium or subscribers, free accounts can suck it... need i go on?

I miss the times in LOTRO. Had a blast with my hobbit ranger, and I found the crafting to be somewhat refreshing with great animations. However, the lifeless characters simply took away the fun. It doesn't matter if the landscape is amazingly beautiful if the characters are just dead bodies walking about

LotRO is the 6th most played MMORPG according to Xfire 10-04-2011. Also they are expanding and revamping the game's content, which is a result of a big playerbase.

Turbine has made it easy to access instances from anywhere you want, which has made group play alot easier. The crafting part follows the standard MMORPG template, so if you don't like that, you probably wont like it in many other MMORPGs.

The auction house is both for free, premium and VIP users, so your statement about that is completely wrong.

I don't want to start a discussion, as your previous post shows that you're using arguments which are false.

I loled so hard at your X-fire argument. It's not even nearly objective. 99,9% population of Earth never heard about X-fire. It says WoW played by 32796 players (12 millions just lost somewhere). EVE played by 2k players (while there is 15k players online just now).

And linking lotro site is funny too. Like any devs will ever say "ok, guys, our game sucks hard and we only want your money".

So how about "your post shows that you're using arguments which are false"?

I do know that it’s only a minority that uses Xfire, but it still indicates whether or not the game has a healthy player base compared to other Xfire-listed games. I am not sure what you mean about the LotRO linking?
http://www.lotrolife.com/dev-diary/lotro-dev-diary-evendim-revamp/1816/and http://www.lotro.com/news/pressreleases/910 were meant as sources showing that Turbine is still making a lot of content, which again indicates that the game is in a healthy state. It had nothing to do with the developers’ opinions.

The last link just proofed that the free players can also use the auction house.

LOTRO is not dead, and for the supporter x-fire doesn't prove it, the player base does.

To the naysayers, get over crying over spilled milk, stop doomsaying and move on to whatever game it is that you think is better.

Thank you.
