Tholdornas writes: Allods Online? You mean that poorman's version of a cheap version (Runes of Magic) of WoW? Fun fact: Wildstar is more than it's graphics. Go check out the beta, you get keys thrown at you from everywhere now. Fri May 02 2014 3:26PM Report

Hey Zzad, how is going with ESO? Everything ok back (back...back........back ) there?

I am sorry, but you really cannot help ESO to "come forward" .

So please, stay back!

Eir_S writes: "More than its graphics".  I agree.  The combat is different from Allods bigtime.  Everything else is really similar.  Please... Wildstar is NOT a game that's taking the genre "forward". Sat May 03 2014 4:29PM Report
Tholdornas writes: Eir_S, I seem to have missed the part anyone was talking about how Wildstar 'takes the genre forward'. Actually, Wildstar doesn't even exactly try to be groundbreaking or innovative. The one thing Carbine tries is to offer a complete MMORPG experience, much like WoW did and still does; that does include several, even many features that are common in pretty much every MMORPG to date. What makes Wildstar different is the fact that they don't hide what kind of game it is: it IS WoW. With action combat. On crack. With character models right out of every Pixar movie ever. And I think it's brilliant Sat May 03 2014 5:16PM Report

When did it claim that it was "taking the genre forward" I don't ever seem to ever remember the developers saying that?

And to all the people saying it's like Allod's, it's also like Swtor, Wow, Eq, Eq2, GW2, GW1, get the point......

Tholdornas, just FYI, Mordesh are clearly inspired by a race from Allods. If you cant see it then thats not anyone else's problem. Hate all you want but the "wow in space" feel came from Allods in the first place and WS took it since its the new thing. Again, hate all you want.

Side note: Allods was far more polished than Runes of Magic. Both became p2w and got ruined but the facts are there if you played them both.
